Actually my man it's Corabi, John Corabi and he was on the self titled "Motley Crue" released in 1994. IMO their best record by far. No disrespect it’s just a different way for me to look at it. Now I have a few.… When I hear the song, Jack and Diane by John Cougar menstrual cramp, I think of the 16-year-old couple I was in high school with that were sharing a third trimester pregnancy in the ninth grade. They kept the baby and went on to do great things… I think you’re environment greatly interprets what you hear in a song. There’s no disagreement… Just the way different people can absorb things. I like where your career is going Tommy Lee and Mr. Maher. Great things to come, gentlemen.
I’m sure it’s been pointed out several times in the comments, but John was on the self titled album (great record). Generation Swine (poo poo) was Vince’s first album back
You know I've always thought that if Motley woulda changed their name when John took Vince's spot on vocals that album would've been a way bigger success honestly speaking.
@@stevelongmusic880 You know what my brother? To this very day I still don't understand why John ended up getting so much hate from the fan's. I've seen The Crue live three times beginning with the summer of 88 during their GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS world tour held at Legend Valley. The second show was held at the same venue during the summer of 1990 on their DR FEELGOOD world tour and the last show was held at Polaris Amphitheater, in the summer of 94 during their self titled album MOTLEY CRUE featuring John on lead vocals of course! Now the 18,000 seater didn't come close to selling out only 8,000 of us showed up for the show but let me say this my friend John's performance was a 1,000 times entertaining than both of Vince's show put together.
The new song Dogs of war sucks. Motley has been lousy since the decadence greatest hits album although the Motley Crue album was decent but they went into too much grunge.
Aaah.. I like a few tunes off "New Tattoo" and "St. Of Los Angelas" but NOTHING comes close to their '80s hayday. I don't consider the self titled one to be a Crue album at all though. It just doesn't "feel" right to me. Just my opinion.
Man,, thank you for this ,, motley crue was my favorite 80s metal band ,, im now 50.. and ive had a change in what I thought they were !!!.. MICK MARS is the crue !!!.. I lost all respect for them !!!.. he is the talent that made them!!!..
Why the hell would you say the Album Corabi did was Generation Swine? That was Vince. Corabi sang on the beat Album they ever did. Motley Crue Motley Crue.
@stevelongmusic880 I saw Corabi and the Scream open up for the Bullet Boys. He was AMAZING LIVE! Then a few months later Motley Announced him as the new singer. I saw them live and it was one of the best sounding concerts I've ever been to. I love the self titled album. To me it doesn't sound dated even today. And I think we would have gotten 5 to 10 more great albums with them had they stuck with him.
Your information is wrong on Vinces departure.. John Corabi was on the self titled Motley Cue album with the si gle Hooligans Holiday. after poor rdcird and concert ticket sales Cirabi was let go and Vince returned to record Generation Swine
What did I get wrong on Vince's departure, I said either left of was fired so that kinda covers it :) You are right, I was incorrect on Generation Swine. I messed that up. Thanks for watching!
Also the name motley crue came from the studio techs. As they walked in (all 4 members) they were known as Christmas. This is where the name was born. Don't they look like a mottley crew.
Motley Crue is referred to as the world’s most notorious band, not the most dangerous band in the world. Their publicist Sylvia Marketing & Public Relations would appreciate if we didn’t bungle the tagline they took months to develop with Nikki
The original guitar player, dang that still catches me off guard .I truly like John , The man is great just wish he wasn't in the middle , great bank I'm sure ,cant hate on that just kinda makes me wonder if he may of sharpened that knife for Nikki before he stuck it in Micks back, hate to think he would .
One thing's for sure, Crue won't get any better without Mick. John 5 is an excellent guitarist, but Crue is just not the same without Mick, and honestly, they were on a steep decline for years. But they never could have made it without Mick's amazing guitar craftsmanship. I had a strong understanding of where the guitar sits in a mix, harmony, song structure. The whole deal.
I don’t like Motley Crue that much but I really like micks riffs, and mick is the only member I respect, as hes the only one who isn’t a completely horrible person
The Corabi album was the self titled 94 release. Although Generation Swine was written with Corabi, they decided to bring back Vince and record/release it. The album sucked but had a couple decent songs.
You are incorrect about Corabi singing on Generation Swine…Mick loved playing on the self titled album MOTLEY CRUE where Corabi was the singer…Mick hated playing on the Generation Swine album bc of the producer. SWINE IS HORRIBLE
This isn't accurate? No one spit on vince there was no fight at the starwood. I was upstairs in the vip section. I also went to school with their first photographer. The first photo shoot was in cerritos calif. I lived down the street and there's pictures .
That's cool, wish I was there!. I did preface that a lot of the info was coming from the book and there could be discrepancies. Good to hear from someone with first hand experience! Thanks for watching!
@stevelongmusic880 just some friendly advice i would fact check things in the books. Another example nikki s story about his audition with quiet riot is b.s. read or watch what kevin Dubrow said.
Well, I did use their book The Dirt for some of this also, but it was more about Mick that the whole band. Unfortunately, there's not a ton out there about Mick by himself. But great advice, appreciate it!
Not arguing that Nikki was part of it. In my opinion they lost their magic when they started cutting Mick out of the writing process, so that's where I'm coming from. I will say I loved Sixx AM. Thanks for watching!
Nikki had the dream and songs, but Mick had the hunger. Everyone knows that no one person writes a song start to finish without the band having their say so. I do see the group effort being part of it here and everything going through a filtering process of song writer, band, producer and label.
John Corabi was on the 1994 self titled Motley Crue album. Generation swine came later. Personally, I feel that record was their best or at least one of their best. Generation swine was the one where Mick was cut down all the time. The end result was a dumpster fire.
I appreciate the input. Greg played with Tommy first, didn't like Nikki as he felt his playing ability wasn't up to snuff and told Tommy if that was who he wanted to play bass, he was out. Technically, this wasn't Motley Crue yet as Greg never played a gig with them, he left when Nikki joined the band, Vince wasn't in the band yet, and Mick came up with the name Motley Crue. Besides that, this was more about Mick, than the origins of Motley Crue. Thanks for watching!
There are so many names in the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame that is just a company trying to get props for giving props and they figure the bigger the inductees the more coveted membership is.… They were wrong. How about the heavy metal Hall of Fame or the top 10 rock ‘n’ roll bands ever… No I got a good one: the greatest band that ever lived Hall of Fame. And then they just induct Mötley Crüe and. Close the book.

Comment: MC may end up being a great Tribute Band. Just like what KIZZ (Kiss) did in where they have this extensive catalog of songs. This band (referring to MC) can also be compared to Luis Miguel (an international singer). LM (Luis Miguel) has not even released any new material in several years and the young man is making millions of dollars by touring and singing his hit songs to his fans. MC, I believe, will be heading down that road. Greg Leon is better than John 5 but Mr. Leon said that he would never join the band. I think MC can survive by doing this, but I don't believe that they will ever be releasing any new material. I think those days' are Over. March 30, 2024. USA

Yeah, I agree with you. I think their best stuff was before the greatest hits album. Thanks for watching!
Mick's new tunes kick ass.
Aaah.. I like a few tunes off "New Tattoo" and "St. Of Los Angelas" but NOTHING comes close to their '80s hayday. I don't consider the self titled one to be a Crue album at all though. It just doesn't "feel" right to me. Just my opinion.
They have sucked since the overly produced DR FEELGOOD, never topped SATD.
The song was kool it's not all about Mick Mars guys Mick Mars moved on and so did motley there both awesome
Vince sang on Generation Swine. Corabi sang on the Motley Crue album. One fact you got completely wrong
Mick is king!
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
Man,, thank you for this ,, motley crue was my favorite 80s metal band ,, im now 50.. and ive had a change in what I thought they were !!!.. MICK MARS is the crue !!!.. I lost all respect for them !!!.. he is the talent that made them!!!..
Yep, I agree! Thanks for watching!
Im surprised Mick didnt open a bar. He could call it MarsBar. My jokes suck but they are free.
That made me chuckle hahaha. Thanks for watching!
We took this trip to garden grove
It smelled like mick mars inside the van...
Oh yea
Iykyk
Jon Corabi was on the Motley Crue self-titled album. Not Generation Swine.
Yep I messed up. Thanks for watching!
Generation swine was the album after Vince returned to the band, the album featuring john corabi was simply titled motley Crue
Yeah I messed that up. Thanks for watching!
Why the hell would you say the Album Corabi did was Generation Swine? That was Vince. Corabi sang on the beat Album they ever did. Motley Crue Motley Crue.
Yeah, I made a mistake, he was on the Motley Crue album, Vince was back for Generation Swine. Sorry about that and thanks for watching!
Their publicist Sylvia Marketing & Public Relations would appreciate if we didn’t bungle the tagline they took months to develop with Nikki
haha! OK, I know I messed up. Thanks for watching!
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
One can only hope...
Thx for watching!
I’m not a gynecologist… But I’ll be glad to take a look at it…
Musically Mick and Tommy carried that band. Good solid guitar playing with Tommy, for all his ridiculousness, is a great drummer.
Oh yeah, agreed. Thanks for watching!
I don’t like Motley Crue that much but I really like micks riffs, and mick is the only member I respect, as hes the only one who isn’t a completely horrible person
Yeah, agree with ya! Thanks for watching!
Wow...basically - 'Mötley Crüe' is Baptist-'Metal'! (Thank you - Reverend Bob!) 🙏⛪🎸
The Corabi album was the self titled 94 release. Although Generation Swine was written with Corabi, they decided to bring back Vince and record/release it. The album sucked but had a couple decent songs.
Yea I messed that up, thanks for watching!
Viva La Mars 🤘
Right on brother! Thanks for watching!
Mars made motlee. Mick is the greatest!!
Totally agree! Thanks for watching!
I like The other side of Mars!
Motley Crue's name should have been Mick Mars and crew
Death of Crue? Apparently not - they're having one of the most successful tours of all time w/John 5 on guitar as of this Summer 2024🤔
I hope they do well, it's just not the same, but John 5 is awesome. Thanks for watching!
john wasnt on generation swine he was on the self titled. GS was the return of vince
When Mick left the music group, they lost the right to that prefix- music.
You are incorrect about Corabi singing on Generation Swine…Mick loved playing on the self titled album MOTLEY CRUE where Corabi was the singer…Mick hated playing on the Generation Swine album bc of the producer. SWINE IS HORRIBLE
Yeah, I messed that up, and agree with you on Swine. Thanks for watching!
The album with corabi was motley crue.
Yeah you are right, I had that wrong. Thanks for watching!
John Corabi was not on Generation Swine
Yep, I messed up, that was Vince. Corabi was on the Motley Crue album. Sorry about that, thanks for watching!
Mötley without Mick; Not Mötley.
Mick put some awesome riffs behind Nikki's songs. But they were Nikki's songs. Nikki is The Man behind Motley crue. Like it or not those are facts.
ON PACE
Thx for watching!
John Corabi was on the 1994 self titled Motley Crue album. Generation swine came later. Personally, I feel that record was their best or at least one of their best. Generation swine was the one where Mick was cut down all the time. The end result was a dumpster fire.
You are right, I messed that up. Thanks for watching!
Umm the first guitarist for Motley was Greg Leon not Mick bub get it right if your gonna deal dive

The death of us all...
Motley Crue was the death of Motley Crue.
I think you are right. Thanks for watching!
john 5 is dragging the rotten corpse of motley crue
Yeah, still waiting to see if he can bring it back to life or not. Thanks for watching!
Vince Neil, singing is the real death of Mötley Crüe
Yeah, can't argue with that. Thanks for watching!
Motley hasn't sounded like Motley since Hell on Highheels. To me that's the last true Crue song That I've heard.
Yep! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for respecting the man. I just saw a clickbait vid captioned "Mick Mars' Tragic News" or some bs. Dude just used Mick's disease for clicks. I went iff on that ho. Btw, I saw Van Halen 2 days in a row. Friday night in Louisiana then Saturday downtown Dallas free show. Check out that video bro. Anyway, tganks again for posting a legit video.
Thx! I try to be positive as much as possible with the people I’m talking about. Wow two nights of VH, jealous! Thanks for watching!
@@stevelongmusic880 subscribed too mate🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@Sk8Vader Thanks you so much, appreciate it!
Answer to the headline...No, that would be Vince!!
Well....you arent wrong. Thanks for watching!
nikki has been my favorite member for years but since they came out of retirement it mick only
Comment: MC may end up being a great Tribute Band.
USA
