One thing about this test is the lack of exposure to UV, the cold, the wet, and the outdoors. Have you placed your adapters outside for a month or few to see if it stands up to those elements?
I love my Defender Tactical mini shell adapter. Very good option for the Mossberg Shockwave. Makes it an even better Home Defense weapon. Women and teenagers can use it for protection. Because of the greatly reduced recoil of the mini shell. And it will still have a lot of close range stopping power.
Absolutely, and not to mention the added capacity it can give. Now it obviously it will never give you the capacity of an AR-15 or handgun, but the 590A1 can be loaded with 12+1 minishells, which is larger than or comparable to a lot of handguns.

I called and asked if they had a 590S shockwave shock n saw and they said no. There's no model in the foreseeable future for that type of configuration because it's "not in demand." They also dont offer the shock n saw grip or forend as an accessory (bummer). I'm glad i found you guys before buying a plain 590S. Once again...Thanks!!!

Does this adapter prevent unloading the tube by manually pushing the shell release? It looks like this would no longer be possible and the only way to unload the tube would be to cycle the action
I love the innovation and drive you guys used to get this to market. My only concerns are how well this would hold up under extreme temps (esp extreme cold) and how the polymer will last over time. Polymer's molecular structure degrades over time as anyone who has had an old car with a cheap interior plastic interior will know. I wonder if that middle hook was wider so it had more strength if it would be more durable? Seems a bit narrow. Does the material it is made out of how to be so soft / spongy or would a stiffer (maybe alloy) material also work?
Thanks for the comment, we definitely understand your concerns. We have done what "temperature" testing we can do here in TX, and the adapter will maintain its flexibility in sub-freezing temps. Admittedly it's difficult for us to do a rigorous functionality test in those conditions, but with winter coming to a close soon and no temp related complaints from over 2500 adapters across US/Canada, we have great confidence. In terms of the hook or "arrester", the width and material are optimized to absorb the energy of the minishells in the most controlled manner to prevent flipping/tumbling (also making it necessary to be rubber). I will say that this demo really puts the strength of this feature to the test, as it is cycling at a much higher frequency and absorbing more energy than it would in actual function. We think it could withstand this test at least several more times without fail, if not more. However, you bring a good point about the degradation of the material over time which can be common in poly/elastomers. The adapter material is put through a vulcanization process similar to tires or industrial power transmission belts, improving properties from strength to even weather resistance. Obviously this is a question only time can answer, but again something we have great confidence in. Thanks again for the comment and your interest in our products, hope this has helped!
This is a great accessory to make my 590A1 SPX run mixed sizes of shells so I don't have to buy an "S" model or be restricted to only mini shells with it installed. Getting ready to place an order. Is it available stand alone without the follower? I really don't need one but it's not a deal breaker either.

It has been dry cycled several times and is still installed in that firearm. There was no sort of degradation or performance issues so we've left it to see how it continues to perform.
@@izyb6608 We actually saw a customer claimed to have ran 5000+ of mixed shell lengths through our adapter with zero issues. This was a month or two ago now, and he had only had it for a few months before the comment, so he may be close now!

I’d get the package deal. The follower is way better than the Mossy stock one. My Mossy follower would bind up quite a bit.
