Definitely cool VPX can be played on mobile now. Not something I would do personally, but it opens it up to so many more people. Looks to run very well too.
It does take some adjusting and getting used to. The more i play it the more I am enjoying it. I have a 12 inch tablet and it is a great size to play on the couch. Holding it with two hands and using my thumbs for tapping the flip areas. The only tricky bit is that it is hard to tap the nudge zone, let alone flip and nudge at the same time. For now I play without nudge (unless I connect a controller but I prefer just tablet touch mode for convenience). I hope the current mobile version of VPX will attract extra developers so nudge etc. can be further developed (accelerometer? swipe nudge?...) ps: you can see where I touch the screen with my thumbs in the video (the white dots).
@ Yeah, I used to play Pinball Arcade and Zen with a tablet a ton. That was before I got in to the building of cabs. I know exactly what you mean, it feels great with left and right thumbs for flippers, but nudging was always the problem. It is awesome though that the options is available to play these on mobile devices now though. The Zen offerings these days IMO are ehhh. When I first saw a post about this months ago I thought it was a joke :)
