fhhh He can't scream like that anymore. He has Circa and his solo work too. Also, that was so long ago...besides he was talking about the screams themselves, not the quality of it.
What a great fucking album, Saosin is still killing it. And Anthony has this music scene in the palm of his hands, one of the greatest vocalists of our time, IMO.
This album is their best album yet. Hands down. Alex is the best drummer out there. Those patterns are amazing. This was the Saosin I've waited over a decade to hear. Ten stars
I feel like some artists have SUCH an amazing creation to show the world, slowly evolving or maybe making a series of entrys into a larger masterpiece. This is one of those moments.
Holy shit. This is amazing. I thought this would just be Circa Survive #2, which would have been fine, but I'm just blown back at how progressive this is. Especially for a band that's been all but dead for the last 7 years. Good job guys.
[Verse 1] I've already been there A broken lock Inside a rotting idea of a heart You'll never find it You took my name On top a desolate mountain of hope [Chorus] I saw it frame by frame We'll take it all apart Until there's nothing left to blame I saw it frame by frame (Perfect the weakest thread, until the bitter end) You never see it and (Within my eyes) Before you know it will be gone [Verse 2] I've never heard of A patient [?] Within a chorus of unending [?] I've already been there It feels the same Inside a rotting idea of a heart If you write it down It feels the same [Chorus] [Bridge] Always a race to keep you dragging on Until the currents change Our days are paced to keep from burning out You used to care

what's wrong with it sounding polished? Don't agree on it sounding sterile...especially the drums sound really good on this album. I have the feeling the "hit making machine" Howard Benson held their drummer back for the self titled album. The drumming on the new one is insane.
Dude.. Saosin was my main jam in high school back from 2003-2007. Just like with wine, they apparently got better with age. So good to see them still shredding
This popped up on my feed today and I'm happy it did. Definitely late to the party but better late than never. I thought I was listening to Circa Survive a few times throughout the song then realized this is Saosin.

@Melody Larsen I figure she doesn't mean to be a bad person but she doesn't remember what it's like to be trans and pre-everything and suffer constantly every time you look in the mirror. As such I think she's let it get to her head along with her obsession with Jessica Yaniv. I mean regardless of whether or not the person's a predator you think people would get the message after the first 10 videos you put out about her, right? You think she probably has merch about the whole ordeal by now? Not to mention the truscum bullshit that she spews out of her mouth.
Alex is one of the most underrated drummers in the industry.
no doubt
The GOAT 🍻
Watching him perform in the music video is wild! So much talent!
Hell yeah he kicks ass
his fills are badass
They’re Old enough to be my dad and still making emo music that sounds as good as their 2005 stuff, move aside kids the dads are here
@@quakerthroats9010 what part of theyre old enough to be his dad dont you understand?
Wait if they're old enough to be your dad and they're in their late 30s and early 40s how old are you? I'm 17 and my parents are in their late 40s.
LMAO
@Jose L. Padilla Jr. Saosin is an emo band.
Truf'
God this sounds so 2005, i love it. very few can achieve this sound anymore.
That's true

saosin didnt break up til 2009ish btw I was saying 2005
the drums on this song are insane
+cayeminterviews The drums on every Saosin song are insane.
+Lennon Pultz not to this extent especially as of lately
+Lennon Pultz hell yess dude!
+cayeminterviews As lennon says, every saosin song has some sick drum beats! :)
I agree. I saw it frame by frame and he was definitely saucin
People who say the screaming sucks... you clearly don't know that screaming IS vintage Saosin.
that's a great saosin's screaming.
Well some people are fucking retarded
+Daniel they've never seen a blank notebook page
fhhh He can't scream like that anymore. He has Circa and his solo work too. Also, that was so long ago...besides he was talking about the screams themselves, not the quality of it.
+fhhh in translating then name ep its justin not anthony, thats why its different
Still can't believe this is happening. Like a dream I forgot I had and can't even fathom as it comes true...
that was a great way to put it, I was thinking the very same...it's great to hear new Saosin, and Ant back. I missed the part where I wake up...
right? the 14 year old me is freaking out.
I feel the same... this is unreal but awesome
Seriously I love how this is surreal
This is the most Saosin sounding song so far
no lost symphonies is
@@schizojit ever heard of translating the name? not the album

2:05-2:17 Alex is going apeshit on those drums. So good
+Kyle McLaren Alex is a beast!
He looks like a real life Animal the muppets. Savage.
literally "fucking" the drums on that part- if drums were a female
I was thinking more like 0:00-4:25 lmao
Well... So far all 3 songs caused me to get shivers all across my arms. Amazing work.
+Laird Swan silver sting still the best for their new album
+Purwo Prasetyo every day before i head to work, silver string is a must!
Your pic is my tat

+Purwo Prasetyo I agree 100%. they chose the right song to showcase first.
What a great fucking album, Saosin is still killing it. And Anthony has this music scene in the palm of his hands, one of the greatest vocalists of our time, IMO.
Anthony is in Asbury Park New Jersey tomorrow ID go if I had a ride Back to South Jersey, I can get There by bus
Alex will forever be the most savage drummer out there dudes amazing
It's like the adolescent high school me took a hiatus and decided to jump back in to my life. This is amazing. Chills every time.

+vincent meredith yeah! long time no see them!
Still remember when this song dropped like it was yesterday OMG
That drum style... So Saosin.
THE POWER THAT COMES OUT OF THIS GUY IN A GLIMPSE SO FAST THAT YOUR EARS CANT KEEP UP BUT YOUR MIND KNOWS WHAT HES DOING AND ITS BLOWN
that drummer is a legend and always will be!
Anthony back with Saosin is just a fundamental goodness in the world. It's like everything came full circle and it's just so fucking beautiful.
Holy shit. This is amazing. I thought this would just be Circa Survive #2, which would have been fine, but I'm just blown back at how progressive this is. Especially for a band that's been all but dead for the last 7 years. Good job guys.
Haha seven years
They are still amazing as I remember with this lineup. Purely hypnotic and beautiful.
i Dont know why Im still here.
you guys the best 🔥
God, do I love the phrasing “a broken lock inside a rotting idea of a heart”.
Holy shit I have not listened to Saosin in literally like 8 years.
Haha I had the same thought. That's the song that made me fall in love with Circa back then.
im like *seven years*
words cannot explain how much i love this band.
[Verse 1]
I've already been there
A broken lock
Inside a rotting idea of a heart

It feels the same
Inside a rotting idea of a heart
If you write it down
It feels the same
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
Always a race to keep you dragging on
Until the currents change
Our days are paced to keep from burning out
You used to care
+01UofMfan "A patient hand
within a chorus of unending step" I think is the missing bits. Thanks for your efforts
+Daniel Falkenbach it's a patient pen (refer to pre chorus and listen it took me a few listens)
+01UofMfan "our days are paced to keep from burning out" confirmed by Anthony
I thought it was "pull flat the weakest thread" but I could be mistaken
01UofMfan b
Everytime I listen to this, brings me to a different level of musical bliss...Saosinfully awesome!
Possibly Saosin's best song yet.
It's damn close. Hard to argue. Definitely one of their most passionate.
never in a million years thought this would happen
Alex have a something that other drummers dont have. I Feel how deep is the feeling he wants to say.

Just like the Saosin of old! Brings back memories!
good tunes thanks and thank you Jesus
Last Saosin album was dated back in 2009. And now 7 years later, we get this in 2016
Miracle of the universe.
Anthony Green's back!!!!! Translating the Name was Saosin's best work cause of Anthony glad hes back.
The drumming is amazing like always . Always keep it 100
I miss Saosin and listening to their song is nostalgic. When I first hear their song I was in high school back 2005
First song that feels like Saosin again.
+xShadowWolfe totally has translating the name vibes

Just perfect! The chorus and solos just give me goose bumps! Looking forward to London on Saturday!

11 Years after they´re paths took different ways here they are again and it's beautiful OMG!
Anthony Green the monstrous voice of supremacy amongst vocalist!
