I think the unique part of streamers would be choosing a no job security career choice that you can't even put on a CV, choosing not to take sponsors out of some weird morality or ego yet could so not smart, very irregular financial stream that can be irreparable since it depends on how many viewers you have and popularity is fleeting depending on many factors (potentially cancelled over something dumb, a simple drop in engagement for no reason or other things) etc.
yes but when you work in a job you build up working experience and an experienced worker is sooner or later going to make more money. A person who has never worked in their life being over 30 years old is most likely not going to find a job.
@@RealTaIkyou bring up a good point, but there is absolutely a way to put a financially successful streaming career on a resume. Hire a resume writer or learn HR terminology. Especially if you're coordinating with brands, sponsors, other streamers, etc, yourself. You're your own brand coordinator, talent manager, in a way. That's just off the top of my head. Not to mention the connection you've hopefully made in the space. If you actually put yourself out there and you're smart about the transition, you'd probably be fine.
It's a form of self-employment and if it becomes a large enough operation, you're running an entertainment business. That's valid.
