    1. What are you, oh soul, so sad, since the Lord gives you a cross to bear? What are you grieving so scared as if you weren't loved by God because of that? 2. How are you so restless and troubled because the sun of joy does not shimmer on you What do you worry are you full of unrest? It only makes your condition worse. 3. What do you torment yourself with doubts and worries, because the Lord's help is hidden from you? Oh! throw at him the worry who cares for you so far, helps today and tomorrow. 4. He certainly does not leave you helpless and in due time will drive away the need. After fear and suffering follows lust and joy, so you should only be patient and believe. 5. God acts as a father to you as his child, the blows are hard and not gentle, so trust him he still loves you and creates that finally all your suffering disappears. 6. Hold still in patience, God means it faithfully, and the discipline of his rod is good for you that is certain and believe this the dear cross is very good and holy to you. 7. Just wait and trust in God in all suffering and let no need separate you from him, hear what he says do not hesitate, my child, I will prepare you for a price. 8.Thus, soul, be lifted up to God with confidence, his helpful face shows you from above, he is your god help you out of need, you should praise him here and there with joy.
