You just reminded me of the best thing. I work in an art gallery and we had this amazing exhibition about insects. It was made by a local man, who knew so much about insects that we asked him about his etomology degree, he explained that he was an engineer and insects were his hobby. He had made bee hives, models of crickets, and interactive displays of how worm dig in the bark of trees. It is my favourite exhibition ever. Not only due to the amazing old man who was "eccentric old man" given form, but because I have a background in animal keeping and teaching people about it. So I got to mix both of them when I did tours.
It's like the slow unfolding of the layers of some papery hell where winged alien insects chase you through it's endless labyrinthine halls wanting to inject you with their venomous stingers.
