tbh it was unfair for Jun's team too. the rules were too vague. they should've put a minimum and maximum amount for the price. This way, it would be entertaining because the difference wouldn't have been too big. e.g. each member should have a total of 1M worth in total. because, realistically speaking, Mingyu's team would've won right away if they just wrote his original plan (-5,000 won, etc.)

What I love about him it's that he will do ANYTHING to make his team win and he never betrays his partnes (even if they're on different teams, if you partner with him, he won't betray you and will do whatever to make you win, like cheat). And here it's the perfect example, he was 100% playing fairly until the first round ended and he saw there was no way they were winning, so he came up with a plan to do it.

Absolutely impressed with Mingyu!! His critical thinking skills and the way he strategizes is something else. Like you could see the gears turning in that brain of his. Wonwoo also. Both are incredibly smart! Nakakaloka. Jeonghan. No one can beat you talaga. Totally didn’t see that coming but at the same time I kind of did when he saw Vernon, Dino, and Woozi was caught immediately during the first round. You could see him already plotting and strategizing how they’re gonna play out the next few rounds.

Every competitive Going Seventeen episode is always "How Do We Outsmart Yoon Jeonghan" and I think that's what makes it more exciting and more challenging for them and also for us Carats. Mingyu's Team really did their best - they were /almost/ there when they agreed to make a deal with the PD - it's just that Jeonghan is always thinking a couple of steps ahead. I'd like to think Jeonghan is training them to become smarter.

things you learn in this gose episode: - s.coups' switches between being a prey and a predator is like second nature - jonghan is really scary good in scheming - joshua just wanted to win against the seunghan tandem - jun used his power of "redirection" to be one with nature - hoshi cannot be average; he's either too good at hiding that no one can find him or too bad that he gets caught in just a few seconds - wonwoo's speed is not to be underestimated; also, he is easy to corrupt - wooji just want to have fun but not get tired (let the guy rest!) - dokyeom is too honest for his own good - mingyu is too good-natured to be a schemer but, still, a schemer nonetheless - the8 will always find a way to reach a higher ground - seungkwan really loves vernon and dino - vernon is so chill no one notices he was still hiding until the last minute - dino really is their baby until to this day; its subtle but you can see it that he loves how they take care of him and give him attention

And I've been guessing which GoSe episode it is then realized its this episode. I've been a Carat since YMMD and watched GoSe and honestly instead of getting mad I'm amazed. @@her9271 this happened to me once in an argument, it wasn't that big actually. 70% of that fight is me being overly frustrated and 20% is the other saying how dramatic I am, pretty sure the argument is only 10% lol. it bothers me for so long how the argument ended until I realized that I was probably the only one who's upset of it since I couldn't control my emotion. Even though she's the one who's at wrong, I feel really bad for saying so many mean things to her especially since she's older. Lets be honest I'm rewatching this episode for the 3rd time and I'll still say that if the deal was not made , the episode would have been boring, you could see how other members weren't that enthusiastic in playing after they saw that no matter what they won't be able to win. Jeonghan and Scoups came up with the deal not only to overcome the flaws in rules but also make the game interesting for everyone playing. Mingyu's team had a choice to make the deal or not, Jun's team didn't...either they make the deal and take a gamble or just lose cause the winner was fixed the entire time I was feeling bad for Jun's team because you could see they didn't expect the other team would set the minimum amount In a way they were kinda dissappointed so the deal saved the show

@@kellypope9682 i’m not trying to defend either of them cuz they all are precious to me but the difference between mingyu and jeonghan was that pdnim approached mingyu’s team by asking them to make the content fun and to increase their sum and if they do follow pdnim’s suggestion, he’ll act as a spy for them. here, we can’t forget that mingyu didn’t think of cheating in the first place, it was pd’s idea whereas jeonghan was the one who proposed the whole spy and incentive thingy in the other team’s case.

It's not like the PD forced them to accept. The game could have just ended with them winning and could have played extra games to lengthen the episode. If Mingyu team was really worried about the content in the first place, then they shouldn't have played safe. Mingyu team's strategy was good, but anyone who would have gone 2nd would also think of that strategy tbh.

Jeonghan is the one who can fo anything to make show entertaining . He doesn't care if he wins or not only thing he wants to make a good content for carats that's what i love most about him . I was rooting for Jun's team that I wished there was a plot twist when they were losing and yes there is. As expected of Jeonghan. Indeed, the smartest of the bunch.
Mingyu and Wonwoo are smart but they played it too fair without realizing this world is never fair at the beginning lol.
tbh it was unfair for Jun's team too. the rules were too vague. they should've put a minimum and maximum amount for the price. This way, it would be entertaining because the difference wouldn't have been too big. e.g. each member should have a total of 1M worth in total. because, realistically speaking, Mingyu's team would've won right away if they just wrote his original plan (-5,000 won, etc.)

Not gonna lie, I high-key wish the Mingyu team had won. But I will also never deny that Jeonghan deserves every bit of success and good luck that he has on all his plans xD He is insane. And I've been guessing which GoSe episode it is then realized its this episode. I've been a Carat since YMMD and watched GoSe and honestly instead of getting mad I'm amazed. @@her9271 this happened to me once in an argument, it wasn't that big actually. 70% of that fight is me being overly frustrated and 20% is the other saying how dramatic I am, pretty sure the argument is only 10% lol. it bothers me for so long how the argument ended until I realized that I was probably the only one who's upset of it since I couldn't control my emotion. Even though she's the one who's at wrong, I feel really bad for saying so many mean things to her especially since she's older. If I could somehow meet her in the future, I will totally apologize because I was being unnecessarily rude

I'm rewatching this episode for the 3rd time and I'll still say that if the deal was not made , the episode would have been boring, you could see how other members weren't that enthusiastic in playing after they saw that no matter what they won't be able to win. Jeonghan and Scoups came up with the deal not only to overcome the flaws in rules but also make the game interesting for everyone playing.
Mingyu's team had a choice to make the deal or not, Jun's team didn't...either they make the deal and take a gamble or just lose cause the winner was fixed
the entire time I was feeling bad for Jun's team because you could see they didn't expect the other team would set the minimum amount
In a way they were kinda dissappointed so the deal saved the show

@@kellypope9682 i’m not trying to defend either of them cuz they all are precious to me but the difference between mingyu and jeonghan was that pdnim approached mingyu’s team by asking them to make the content fun and to increase their sum and if they do follow pdnim’s suggestion, he’ll act as a spy for them. here, we can’t forget that mingyu didn’t think of cheating in the first place, it was pd’s idea whereas jeonghan was the one who proposed the whole spy and incentive thingy in the other team’s case.
@@maitreyeebhargude195 still, Mingyu team accepted the offer so both teams cheated. He could have declined the offer because they were winning anyway but he didn't. It's not like the PD forced them to accept. The game could have just ended with them winning and could have played extra games to lengthen the episode.
If Mingyu team was really worried about the content in the first place, then they shouldn't have played safe. Mingyu team's strategy was good, but anyone who would have gone 2nd would also think of that strategy tbh.

I beg to disagree. Jeonghan's goal is to win and he really used his wit to reach his goal. For the cheating part, they have episodes where there's no cheating but still managed to have good reviews.

너무 초반에 게임의 결과가 나와버리니까 어떻게든 기획 살리려고 한 결과가.. 일케 된 듯. 게임 룰 자체가 헛점이 많았다고 볼 수밖에 없고 수습이 이런형태로 되고 욕먹고.. 특정멤버들을 욕하기에는 우리가 모든 사정을 다 아는 것 아니고.. 제작진도 이런 상황 생각 못할 수 있는 사람이니까..
