- Has universal gone too far with their theme park food??
today i journeyed to islands of adventure to check out the new menu at this restaurant who’s name is too long to pronounce
A red bun burger, a vegan meatball bread cone, a blue noodle ahi tuna poke bowl??? Islands of Adventure has reopened Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous with some NEW bizarre menu choices
But honestly… It’s some pretty solid food!

I mentioned on Kristen’s video I was really impressed by the presentation. What I guessed the taste would be seems to be on par with what you both said!
Yes! It was! I will say, i hope that it maintains the same quality past the first week/month/year.
I feel like it’s hard to judge a place (good or bad) on the first few days. even some highly praised disneyland restaurants *pyms test kitchen* was fairly sub par only a year or two after opening. (in my opinion)🤷♂️😅
Dead Man’s Pier has been my favourite original house of all the HHNs I’ve been to. Any chance to see some of it hidden in other UO things is the only reason I need to visit the park.

I love that universal is going so heavy with their good theming lately. So much better than the plain ol slice of pizza that used to be there

The way to get Kristen to get over mayophobia or at least tolerate mayo is to have her make her own ailoli and try it on some really nice toasted sandwich. Aioli aversion therapy!
If only she could ever agree to that!! I feel like there’s absolutely no way she would ever willingly do that 😅 One can hope 🤞

I can’t imagine paying $8 for a lemonade, butter beer yes, lemonade no. Plus, I will keep watching this year to see if you can actually get Kristen to eat aioli. 😂

I never had the opportunity to go to Universal so I like seeing it. But it sounded like the restaurant is a popcorn stop lol. How'd your stomach handle the food coloring?
My stomach actually handled the food pretty well!!
Wish I had more room in my stomach. I felt like this was the one day in a while I was able to limit myself 😅

We love Royal Caribbean. Do you prefer Royal or Disney? Also why do you prefer the one you picked?
I personally prefer Royal Caribbean! The ships are so much better, so much more to do and honestly I thought the food was better too 😬
I also have to take into account that feeling of disney magic, but for me, that’s only a 25 minute drive from my front door. So I can get it in disney world so easily 🤷♂️

Thanks for your honest opinion. We both really like Royal, but want to try a Disney cruise. Plus Disney is almost double the price.
I understand the food is supposed to look fun, but those blue noodles-🤢
I will admit, the blue noods were probably the least appetizing thing an the whole menu 🤢 The rest was super solid tho 👀
