About damn time!!! An American cross plane V8, especially from Chevy, should all have a lumpy cam!!! Hats off gents. And pay no attention to the young naysayers about a lumpy cam in a rear mid engined car. Again, they should all sound like mortar fire!!

The ability to do H/C/I with a procharger will make the C8 stingray more appealing to me than the Z06.

It's just amazing 👏 I just picked my 2023 c8 yesterday after a 3 year wait and the transmission has failed me after 45km I didn't even get it home I'm gutted
Man that stinks. What happened? Only engine light for DCT, or actual mechanical failure with light?
yea i went with the transmission upgrade
@LateModelRacecraft I lost drive then the engine light came on. Idle creep message displayed. Then got it going again which at that point I lost 2nd 4th and reverse huge squealing sound followed. I live in Australia also so we don't have the resources that yous in the states have it's a disaster it's at the dealer now waiting for the result

so Around 550 whp to bad about not being able to raise the RPM shift points.

So these are factory rated at 495 and put 485 to the wheel stock? GM under rating hp again.
I think that was an engine dyno number, so that’s what it makes at the crank
@@chasemytaillights Maybe that's what 'corrected' means at the top of the Dyno chart.? If so it's very confusing that they would label (bhp?) from an engine Dyno as rwhp. Maybe they made a typo there?
I've been waiting to hear ac8 sound that way I can't wait to hear a 427 with a cam race against the ZO6 naturally aspirated versus naturally aspirated I believe the 427 will beat it

You are a great shop , but very pricey, you gave me a price of over 18k for heads , cam and tune and in your video you didn’t let us know the power gain
looks that way, you can get a cam with hardware for under 1k heads 4k tune 3 k so that only leaves labour and 10k to drop the engine is a crime

If someone else can do it for 9k - then by all means. But they cannot.
It cost big cheese to go fast amigo. Also considering you have to drop the motor to do the work that’s cheap. I’ll be shipping my car to them when I’m ready.

You need to buy a new dyno. LT2 does not make 485 to the wheels and those graphs look ridicules

Completely disagree, its always MERICA this…MERICA that but then we copy and paste ideas from everyone else. A choppy cam in a mid engine car is as American as it gets. Sounds better than a ford Gt.
Car sounds like shit! Nothing to do with the build as LMR is top notch. It’s just the mid engine/exhaust design I guess. Sounds like there is something wrong with the car. Just my opinion of course. Now that chop on the previous generations was music to my ears!

Sorry if this is ignorant to ask, but how is the baseline making 596 hp on the engine Dyno when the c8 official Chevrolet numbers are 495 flywheel hp? Did this years c8 base cars get a factory hp increase?
Its not. The baseline was in the red, the new motor numbers are in the black
We show engine Dyno baseline of 486hp and then the after of 596hp with our heads-cam package. This is also known as flyeheel horsepower like rated from the factory.
