Do not recall how I came across Pastor Shuttlesworth's teaching and preaching, but so glad I did. Being retired I have plenty of time to listen and learn. Love that he so many times tells us he will start in the Bible, stay in the Bible and end in the Bible. That is of utmost importance in this day and age. So, my thoughts for whatever its worth, if these are the five main signs of the "End Times", then the rapture of the Church must be so very close. Listening to teachings from year or so ago, it was made clear that the "last days" primarily refer to the church age with advent of Christ and establishment of the church and will end with the rapture. End times essentially refers to that time after the rapture and through the millennial kingdom. In those same teachings it was pointed out that the events which may begin in the last days, will continue into the end times, or into and through the tribulation period. Certainly gets me excited that even at age 75, I very well could be changed and caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds. Sadly, there will be those who will not have that same experience.

Hallelujah. God showed me 26 years ago that deliverance ministry in the church is way out of wack. It breeds fear, control and takes the focus off the Glory of God. Please pray for my mom and my sister. My mom claims she gets personal revelation from God every day and looks for signs constantly. She thinks she's closer to God than others. She looks into spiritual things she shouldn't be messing with. Crystal balls and things she knows she shouldnt do. Then she makes excuses about how God knows her heart. She picks and chooses what she wants to follow in the Bible. I do believe she loves Jesus in her heart, but she is deeply deceived. My sister who went to Bible college and claims she knows the Bible more than me, listens to new-age prosperity gospel teachers. She lives in sin. I believe she also loves God but doesn't live for him. Both of these woman raised me in church however God revealed his truth to me and the Bible is the only source of truth. I feel like I've been taught wrong by them my whole life. Please God reveal your truth to them. I don't even know if they are truly saved.

We went to a Baptist Church and every Sunday the pastor would tell us what bad people we were. My young son said Mom if we're such bad people why are we attending churc?. We stopped going there.

I am just about going to a conference where they are practicing excorcism. They want to protect the people but are filming everyone that is screaming; fighting with their Spiritual issues or whatever they are under artack. The problem is that they come and " help " once but what is afterwards. Dear Tiff I have been reading the Bible with help of some pastors in a monthtly basis. I am about to start a Bible study with a 2 neighbors. I need help . How shoult I stareted? . I being thinking to tell them about the 66 books of the Bible etc then talk with the Bible to read some of Genesis. The people I am intended to help are of differen denomonations .
I just have wondered about the loud, yet Christian music, being played up on the stage before our pastor gives us a great biblical lesson. It is guitars, and drums, etc. with microphones used by different singers,male and female both. They really belt it out! It seems sincere, but as an older woman it also seems to be there to bring in the youth that love that loud concert music. Is it right? Is it spiritual? Sorry, but it turns me away!

What is your opinion on 501c3 churches? I attend a 501c3 church that is spirit filled and I happen to love my church and feel Gods presence there, but my mother in law has convinced my husband that 501c3 churches are just a business. What can I say to convince ny husband otherwise because my MIL is going through my husband to force us into a different churxh, even though, quite frankly, nobody in my house would ever get to church at all if I were not the driving force. You would think MIL would be happy that atleast her son and granchildren are in a churxh, and shes not even mature enough in Christ to appreciate the fact that our church operates in the gifts of the Holy Ghost. That is another point of contention where she is concerned...she does not understand baptism of the Holy Ghost or speaking in tonguea with interpretatiins.
Repentance means to change your mind. It does not mean to turn from sin in order to obtain the free gift of salvation. Turning from sins is not part of salvation, thats adding works to the gospel. If repentance means turning your back on sin then your saying God is a sinner.(1 Samuel 15:35 KJV) And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

We went to a Baptist Church and every Sunday the pastor would tell us what bad people we were. My young son said Mom if we're such bad people why are we attending churc?. We stopped going there.

I am just about going to a conference where they are practicing excorcism. They want to protect the people but are filming everyone that is screaming; fighting with their Spiritual issues or whatever they are under artack. The problem is that they come and " help " once but what is afterwards.
I actually wanted prayers& baptism but after listening to this ministering Warning about casting out demons- I am Now not Sure if I want that kinda baptism

Dear Tiff I have been reading the Bible with help of some pastors in a monthtly basis. I am about to start a Bible study with a 2 neighbors. I need help . How shoult I stareted? . I being thinking to tell them about the 66 books of the Bible etc then talk with the Bible to read some of Genesis. The people I am intended to help are of differen denomonations .
I would start with reading the gospel of John.
I just have wondered about the loud, yet Christian music, being played up on the stage before our pastor gives us a great biblical lesson. It is guitars, and drums, etc. with microphones used by different singers,male and female both. They really belt it out!
It seems sincere, but as an older woman it also seems to be there to bring in the youth that love that loud concert music. Is it right? Is it spiritual? Sorry, but it turns me away!

What is your opinion on 501c3 churches? I attend a 501c3 church that is spirit filled and I happen to love my church and feel Gods presence there, but my mother in law has convinced my husband that 501c3 churches are just a business. What can I say to convince ny husband otherwise because my MIL is going through my husband to force us into a different churxh, even though, quite frankly, nobody in my house would ever get to church at all if I were not the driving force. You would think MIL would be happy that atleast her son and granchildren are in a churxh, and shes not even mature enough in Christ to appreciate the fact that our church operates in the gifts of the Holy Ghost. That is another point of contention where she is concerned...she does not understand baptism of the Holy Ghost or speaking in tonguea with interpretatiins.
Repentance means to change your mind. It does not mean to turn from sin in order to obtain the free gift of salvation. Turning from sins is not part of salvation, thats adding works to the gospel.
If repentance means turning your back on sin then your saying God is a sinner.(1 Samuel 15:35 KJV) And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.
