My cold tap was leaking. I did the paper clip thing a few times and eventually it worked. I was very surprised that that fixed it. It did end up needing to have water flowing as I used the paper clip.
My cold doesnt get cold at all. The hot comes out hot. The cold light doesnt even come on. Ive unplugged it. Turned the switches in the back off and on. and still not cold.
Where can i buy the power board for my Avalon counter top model? The compressor motor won’t stop running even the switch is turned off. The hot water sometimes is working sometimes it doesn’t. Any advice? Thanks.
I can’t get mine to fully drain despite following all the steps. After opening the drain valve in the back, most of the water did come out but there’s still the sound of things sloshing around. I don’t want to drink any cleaning solution so…this is a dilemma
I was dealing with the same thing and removed the rubber stopper. It worked great. My husband contacted Avalon and they said that stopper was essential. UUgh! It won't let the proper air flow in.
@@ComPrt3 I just this morning woke up to the cold lever not dispensing - just gave a super-slow drip. After looking around on the web, and finding nothing (including this page) - I opened the cover, took out the white plastic reservoir [thing] and it revealed a metal tube in the middle and one off-set. Deduction led me to understand the middle is hot and the other is cold. While holding a cup under the cold spout and triggering it to dispense, I inserted a straw into the cold tube and blew hard. BOOM. The blockage was removed and my cup had some bits of floaty stuff. I did this once more to ensure all was clear - then the cold dispensed once again as normal. I put everything back together and plugged it back in. Working right again. Hope this helps you.
@@Nacho-WhatDoWePlayNext Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately it didn't work. But it did lead me in the right direction. I basically had to disconnect the dispensing spout from the rubber hose. Apparently there was a small piece of plastic the size of a large fingernail stuck behind the plastic screen that sits inside the spout. Thank you.

At first the water was super cold, now it isn’t anymore. Hot water is super hot but the cold water is room temperature? How come?
I just got this dispensary, but the water gallon crumbles because their is no air entering it. How do I fix that?

@@kaileebetts1848 Could you elaborate on that? What rubber stopper? Where is it located? Any information would be appreciated.
