Dorman TCC(or the others mentioned that were the same) solenoid Part # is 926-408 if anybody needs it. Great Video! Thank you for posting. The last one I did, we had to buy a complete valve body from Subaru. Now with a separate solenoid available, the cost is $1000 less to repair this common issue.
Thank you very much for posting this video. I just finished replacing 2 bad solenoids (AWD and Lockup Duty) in a TR580 Valve body. You are one of the 3 primary videos on UA-cam that helped me the most. Thank you!
My AWD solenoid failed in the VB of my 2015 XV/ Crosstrak. I replaced the valve body as i couldn't source a solenoid here in Australia. I believe they're available now so ill probably repair my old VB and keep it as a spare.
Great Video, have a 2013 with P2764 Torque Converter Clutch Pressure control circuit circuit low. The valve body is coming out. Best Solenoids to use for success ?
excellent video mark ;) i have a 2008 outback with the 4speed automatic transmission, i suspect i might need to replace a solenoid or two on the valve body but im still waiting for diagnosis tool to arrive and get some codes.. what im wondering is ? would it be the TR580 or TR690 valve body for my model ?
subaru knows their plastic bushings used in the first few years of this transmission destroy the valve bodies thus they won't service just a solenoid because the valve body could be getting clogged and destroy the next one
Do you have recommendations on where to get the solenoids from? Some people have had problems from solenoids that fail just a few days later. Obviously, I would like to only do this repair once on my car.
Thank you!!! This is the best video I've found so far that covers the TR580 valve body.

Wish you had shown how to take the cover off of the solenoid to get to the wire connectors underneath.

TR580 and TR690 are CVT transmissions not 4 speed. I'm taking it you finally figured that out by now.
