I get it now...no wonder my central defenders were getting roasted!! I play 4-3-3DM Wide with a trap inside, thinking the 3 central players will help the defenders, but he's 100% right....if you have one of those guys on attack or in play-making duty....they just open doors for attackers and creators. I understand now and have to experiment with my CM roles and assignments. I don't think I will use dual DM's (Far too defensive for me), but If I can re-train one to stay and one to fly with an attacking playmaker, that may work. Thanks as always, I always get nice tidbits to use in my play from you. Thank you so much!
433 with trap inside, you have to play a Def mid in the mid of flat 3. I used to use b2b in the centre, hoping that he will drop down when out of possession. Still not working. So you still have to put Def mid in the mid that rarely roams vertically
People get confused about defensive instructions because they view them only from the point of what their team wants to do. It's more about negating what your opponent does best. If their main ball carrying happens mostly from the wings, trap inside. If it's an even effort, leave it off. I suspect most people don't check opponent match data or turn on real time match view to see what's going on, so it's as useless to them as much as set piece instructions.
Actually I don’t care what the opponent does or what tactic it plays. My system always has a way to press angles and I always play the same way, at least that’s what I have been doing on the latest season of my livestream.
Miss u bro. Hope things get better
Sending good energy, hope things get better for you and your mother in law soon! :)
The squared ball for that second goal was sublime!

Thank you for the effort you put into this❤
oeifinally i used to trap inside or outside where my more defensive mided players were. But i just find leaving it unticked produces the best results
SENDING LOVE BRO ❤️
I usually only ever use trap inside, then again, I prefer to play a 5-3-1-1. I guess outside could work for my 5-2-3.

So there's no point to this feature then. I see no created tactics out there using it.
