Imagine not needing to build Stadiums which only last for a tournament, but are really used afterwards and full every second weekend for the national football leagues… big tournaments should be held in countries already having the infrastructure and with stadiums that are being used afterwards again properly. At least in my opinion!

I loved 2006 WC. I was 11 back then and Portugal reached the semi finals. I woke up every morning and took my breakfast thinking about it. I became a fan of Germany(country) since then. The images were beautiful and everything seemed so organized.

Was watching the whole thing from my city in Canada, and every morning had a breakfast with the other fans in our local places to eat and then we watched the games and the whole neighbourhood celebrated.. That was an incredible experience.. I also became a Germany fan since that time.. The vibe of that WC was one of connection and openness.. I have a feeling that Euro 2024 will be even better and will return that spirit of real Football tournament with fan camaraderie and joy..

For some reason uefa had a rule where in international based games people aren't allowed to stand so the areas where people can only stand arent used this also applies to Dortmund in the champions league

I remember when I went to Austria with my family and colleagues, we drove through Germany and Munich right on the day when Bayern won 8-0. I even saw a team bus of Bayern Munich driving past us and we drove past Allianz Arena at the evening when stadium was shining in red. It was so beautiful!

There are 32 slots for a World Cup and 13 of those go to Europe.
In 2020 there are 20 slots for the Euro
In the top 32 in the Fifa ranking(it's not accurate but it gives an idea) are 18 European nations right now and 14 in the top 20. So Theoraticly speaking there are 5 nations that should attend the WC but can't.
This teams can attend the Euro tho, with 2 more spots to give away which currently would be the 33rd and 34th rank in the list. So yeah, the Euro is the harder competition to win. The last 4 WC champions were all european. Of course some top lvl. team like Argetina are missing but the overall level of teams is higher. This can not be disputed.
