Hello Melissa! Your videos are super helpful. I recently got accepted to Chamberlin the on in VA. I'm worried about the cost, I took some pre reqs at NOVA community college which I hope helps bring the tuition cost down. Im also doing Fasfa
I got so excited to see you were in complex! I’m taking HA 1 in January and have been following you 6 months before I got accepted! So excited you’re almost done 🎉
✨Merry Christmas✨ Thank you as always for sharing your experience. Ps. Smudge is the cutest lil fella and he should make more appearances. I hope you have a beautiful holiday and winter break 🙏🏾♥️🎄
Hey great videos!!! Just a question if I have my allied health pre nursing associates..all prereqs are done…how long do you think I will have to go to chamberlain to finish? Still 3 years? Also how much tuition do you think I would save with the transfer credits?
Hey! Definitely reach out to an advisor at the campus nearest to you. When I started chamberlain, I was told the absolute fastest that one can finish the program is in 2 years and 4 months. Nursing courses don’t transfer in- you have to take them at Chamberlain. And you can only take one clinical course at a time (they don’t allow you to double up on those classes). So if all of your prerequisites are transferred in, you’ll be looking at close to 2.5 years for the entire program.
In terms of cost…. I transferred in with 30 something credits and was able to save about $30k in total. But tuition has increased since I started 3 years ago… It depends on how many credits you would have to take at chamberlain and which campus you will attend (some campuses cost more than the others).
Good luck!
Merry Christmas I know I’m late…. congrats on making it this far into chamberlain program. I’m on my 2nd semester and a sophomore….im excited and I know your like omg! I remember when I first started with A&P and etc.. while reading this. Once I finished Anatomy I felt like I graduated two terms ago… I’m doing Stats in January 2024 and start NR 222 and micro (I tried to test out didn’t work out as planned) March 2024, and I’ll be moving on from there. I have 27 months left but who’s counting lol.. I see it’s posting under my son’s name smh! My name is Monique
I’m so excited! Haha and I’m excited for you- you will be at the end of the program before you know it! Good luck!!!
Hi! I just discovered your channel, and it’s very helpful. Chamberlain is the nursing college in Sacramento right? I’ve heard that California nursing programs are very competitive, so how competitive is Chamberlain in comparison?
Thank you for watching my channel! Chamberlain is a university that has multiple campuses throughout the US - I attend the campus in Virginia. Chamberlain is less competitive to get into than some other schools, but I think it mostly depends on the campus and your area. The one good thing about chamberlain is that you do not need to complete your preqequsites before entering the program. You can complete them while you are already in the program.
Hope that helps! Good luck!
Hello Melissa! I speak French and not English but I use the translator to understand you. Thank you for your videos. You explain well what you do in nursing, it is professional and serious. Happy New Year 2024, I wish you success and fulfill your 30th birthday wishes. Kisses.
Merci beaucoup d'avoir regardé mes vidéos ! Best of luck to you as well :)
Thank you so much for these videos. I’ve applied for the September 2024 session in VA and I hope to get in. I’m currently in North Carolina. Do they charge for in state and out of state tuitions?
Ahh good luck! That is my campus 😊
Since Chamberlain is a private school, there is no difference of an in-state vs. out-of-state tuition. All students at a campus pay the same. Some campus are more expensive than others though. Go on the website to see exactly how much your tuition is estimated.
hello does this school do version 1 or 2 of the hesi which version did u take
Hey Melissa I’m going into Pharm and Funds II, we have to get a 19/20 on the med cal quizzes..bummer
Hey! Oh, wow. I don’t think that was the case when I took those classes… they may be increasing the requirement. Wishing you luck!!!
HI, I am planning on taking weekend an evening program next year. Does it take longer than 3 years, and how many days do I need to attend classes per week.
Hey! The program is a 3 year program. It won’t take you more than 3 years (if you pass all of you classes/ don’t take a break from school ) but it CAN take you less than three years if you transfer in with all of your prerequisite courses completed. I believe the program can be completed in as little as 2 years and 4 months if you transfer in with all prerequisites done.
The number of times you go to school a week can vary. I will only be going to school 1 night a week, and then going to the hospital one weekend day in January, but usually I’ve had to go to campus 2 nights a week. I’ve even had to go as many as 4 nights a week one session. It varies session by session. Hope this helps
Smunch 😍
I have 2 bunnies. Proud bunny mom ❤. Great to see you are doing well in school. I love Chamberlain University, very organized. Working on my PMHNP and DNP.
I love bunnies! They are the sweetest pets! And wow, good luck in your program! That is incredible!
