The Original Winnie the Pooh - in NEW YORK CITY!?

  • The Original Winnie the Pooh and friends owned by the real life Christopher Robin! The stories may be English, but the animals have become American at the New York Public Library! Skip to 06:22 for Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Kanga, Tigger, and Piglet! A.A. Milne’s stories were born from his son Christopher Robin’s animals, and we get up close and personal with them too!
New York, New York! Manhattan! The big Apple! We travel downtown to try and peek at the Statue of Liberty and Castle Clinton before heading pas the Ghostbusters II Museum, the oldest park in NYC, and the grave of a bona-fide founding father, Alexander Hamilton! Then, a look at Wall Street as we visit the place George Washington himself was inaugurated as the first President of the United States and the place where the bill of rights was born, allowing us to protect the rights of individuals and eventually expand them to all. We’re still forming a more perfect union but what an amazing treat to see the places history came alive in another Randomland Adventure!

I personally think those stuffed animals should be returned back to England in the Hundred Acre Wood at the Pooh corner museum and they shouldn't be there at some city library.

I did a little research after I saw Goodbye Christopher Robin and apparently the reason he didn't speak to his mother at the end of her life was because he married his first cousin and his mother never forgave him.

I have been to New York, (Manhattan) twice. I wish I had known about the Winnie the Pooh Display then. I would have gone to see it. I read those stories so many times to my sons when they were little. I went to the Air and Space Museum and other places that you showed. It's a wonderful place to visit. I saw the remains of the twin towers in April 2002. It was still being cleared. It was an emotional visit for me then too. Saw the firehouse memorial also. Very moving visit too. Thanks for sharing your trip.

Justin this vlog is amazing. I'm so proud of you, of the video and our country. I cried. Thank you so much for this video. I love American history also, and love the way you speak of it. This video was also pretty funny, the ending was great. Stay safe, have fun, and thanks again! 😊😊

Lol! you got to NYC just in time for those Nor'Easters moving through! Heads up Justin....another is on the way! I love, love, love Winnie the Pooh! My favorite Pooh quote is:
"You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
    ― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
That sort of describes you Justin!

The next time you're in Yuba City, you should take a little drive to the Old City Cemetery in Sacramento. Alexander Hamilton's youngest son, William, is buried there.

No time to hop on the Staten Island Ferry & pass by for a closer look?
You also did a jig on approximately the spot where Batman fights Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.
p.s. You could have taken the side door on 42nd Street & avoided going down stairs to the Children's Room at NYPL. It's a wonderful exhibit, isn't it? A few years back, Jim Dale was there to read from a sequel novel & they also donated a new doll, aged to look like the rest.

I got to see a lot of stuff in NYC, but I never got to stop at Trinity Church. I was with a tour group, and we passed Trinity Church. Like, on a bus, not even stopping, our tour guide was like, "and to your right is Trinity Church, where they filmed National Treasure." But after getting into Hamilton and learning more about that point in history, visiting the church and paying my respects is on top of my to-do list when I go back someday.
