Exactly! When I started streaming horse racing that was the ultimate goal--to show every single candid moment in the process from start to finish. You see a lot of big winning tickets (Pick 4s, Pick 6s, etc) posted on Twitter, but that's only the final result. I wanted to show the HOW...the decision making, the thought wrangling, the hand wringing.

Awesome man!!! I hit a 40 cent super at Belmont. A 8/1 , 4-1, 21-1, 13 to one. I also did a 9 dollar tri. I got 8,470.. I was crying. I was having 2 horrible weeks. Wasted like 2k in nothing and got rewarded .. I actually hit a 10 tri at Santa Anita 2 weeks ago .. A 4-1 8-1 and a 37-1 and my number 4 horse got disqualified for a tacky ass interference on the 8. Still mad ass hell about.

I grew up caring for and training homebred Standardbreds. It's no coincidence that the first & last bet I placed on any kind of racing was in 1972. I won a $2 quinella and quit while I was ahead; I know how inconsistent these critters can be. No knock, it's just the way they are, which is why ones like, say, Bret Hanover stand out so much.
Better off just putting $1 or $2 on roughies you think will have a good chance on.
I agree quinellas can pay out poor, trifecta can be worth it if you pick a roughie to run through, that's what your pretty much counting on when you bet on a quinella/trifecta/first 4

Thanks! I heard similar type "track truisms" from my dad. The old saying was (to trainers) "don't tell me you're going to win the race...tell me if you're going to be out of the money." One thing I mention on the stream a lot is "now-capping" -- the idea of handicapping what has already been happening during the card itself. If you have a trainer that has had 4 horses race so far on the card, and all 4 of them have run stone last, what is really the likelihood of that trainer's 5th runner suddenly being good (regardless of how the horse looks in the program)? It's really just the ideas of going beyond concrete numbers/models and just asking the logical questions.
I watched this episode about your big win and I really enjoyed the buildup to the score! I had a longshot superfecta in the hunt at Arlington Park , it was a huge field, 12 entries, And I'm Looking Good coming down the stretch! An 8:1 first, a 26:1 second, a 11:1 third and a 40:1 shot fourth, It's looking good as the first 3 cross the finish line in order the 4th horse started to fade and was nipped at the wire by a nose! Dang I was crushed The $1 exacta paid $980, the $2 tri paid 4,200 and the $2 superfecta paid $68,500! I headed home and stuffed my face, drank a 12 pack of beer and watched monster movies all night! Almost famous!
Dope! I've hit a super like this at Woodbine for 20 cents paid 3,700 30-1, 25-1 25-1 and 50-1 thought it should have paid more but i wasn't complaining!

This is really cool. It's not fake. I have been through it, and also witnessed other people as well. That whole behavior from beginning to end is almost Identical, from horse selection to the payout waiting. The only thing different was that the Missus was a bit more excited when I won.

from....$4.80?....lets do some basic math. let's be real generous and say it was 5x 50:1s, 50x50 = 2,500......=4.80(stake)x2,500(the total odds of 5 50s comin in)=$12,000 IF they come in (which for this lad, they did).....where you pulled 150k from is beyond me.....dude got OVERPAID, that's the point of jackpots mate....now, please understand my example was presuming all five were 50:1.....im not runnin the exact math on this guy's race, but it's a lot, lot, LOT lower than 4.8x2,5000.....soo...sssshhhhhhhhhhh (and thus, doubly proving how overpaid he got for this. Be happy for the guy, instead of thinking you know better, cos clearly, you do not :p)

Go for it! If it's not legal, they done should have hauled my ass to jail already! Hahaha. My only advice to stay a bit "under the radar" is to avoid streaming high-level tracks (e.g. Del Mar, Saratoga, etc) and keep any individual track stream down to a minimal amount, i.e. don't keep the video on the same track for like over 30 minutes, cycle other track etc etc.

agree but it was a very low bet.
@@SilverBull30 He got the whole pool. These small harness tracks just don't have a lot of money in those pools. Also, he hit the Hi-5 (5 horses) but no one had the superfecta, which is interesting.
This came to me in the recommendations, and yeah that was a good play. I can imagine if you hit the Exacta and the Tri you would have been damn near over $22,000 bucks.
