Hi Caroline, loved the vlog my late husband and I we loved all the Greek islands when we went to zanta town one night there was a power cut for about half a hour candles on tables luckily we had just had our meal great fun don't know if I will travel again might do in time, your vlogs our wonderful always look forward to watching them .Take care.♥️

How lovely - and ties in beautifully with the TV series I just discovered (keep in mind I am in the US!) = which is The Durrells in Corfu. Looks delightful, although the cats would be a problem for my husband who is totally allergic! Beautiful scenery - and definitely something to rewatch on a grey winter's day.

Oh My Lord you have converted me. The two places yea stayed are just fablous as I just lost my partner of 25 years it seems like a safe and calm place for a single person. Loved every min. of the vlog. In my next life I am coming back as a cat.(coming from a cat lover)

Thanks for taking us on holiday with you for late summer sun . reminded me of our holidays in Greece , we have been to most of the greek islands apart from this one and it looks worth a visit ! We had a week away in Weymouth last week with rain all week , it wasnt the best although we had a nice meal at Rick steins place in sandbanks . I had just had spinal surgery 6 wks before and was getting a few set backs hence staying in the uk so I didnt enjoy it as I usually would , Cruise planning for next year !!!xxx

I love Ragdoll cats, I'm wondering whether they are particularly popular in Aus as I have friends over there who have one as well?
@@CarolineMrsM They are super popular over here, my boy is 9 kilos big boy.. My friend has 3 Ragdolls lol... We have cat laws in OZ well in West Australia, not sure about over East xx

Hi susan, yes, I tend to wait until it's almost dry and then scrunch it, sometimes I use a diffuser.

Your vlog was so interesting my husband and I built a house close to Dafni beach in Vassilikos and lived there for 15 years. Sadly my husband died last year so your vlog brought back such a lot of happy memories Thankyou

Love love love the Greek islands. We first visited Zante over 20 years ago and booked apartments with no air con…bad rookie error in 40 degree heat. It started our love affair with Greece though and aren’t the tavernas just wonderful! Thanks for this video Caroline on a wet chilly Sunday.

What an amazing holiday Caroline ❤. I’m just home from Bodrum Turkey 🇹🇷 and it was fabulous. I just love going away however this was a little stressful as after dodging Covid for 2 and a half years I had it just before going away 😮. Fortunately it wasn’t too bad but it has left me with a dreadful cough and very low energy levels 🙄! The sun and alcohol helped immensely 😂😂😂 xxxxx

If you ever need someone to carry your bags, I’m your girl. Your holiday looks fab. I must admit, I am not a cat lover. I don’t like wasps either! The food that you had looks delicious. I love Greece. We have been to Thassos and really enjoyed it there.
It all looked so beautiful. We were going to Greece but I went and broke my hip last Saturday, I’ve had it pinned and won’t be going anywhere for quite a while .but it’s lovely so see where you are .

Good morning chilly today, all the leaves are brown and the skies are grey x zante is a pretty place I've been several times, turtles are a big sight seeing attraction.
While you was in Zante we were in kafelonia just loved it (did you feel the earthquake) loved the island had a fab time 🎉
My mother is Greek this video brings back many happy memories of lovely holidays around the Greek Islands happy days.

Hello Caroline, 2 wonderful hotels, thx for showing us! Is it expensive to rent a car there? Having a car makes you get to see so much more there I think....
I think it was around £270 for 10 days for the cheapest model available which was perfectly adequate for us, definitely worth it as meant we were able to see so much more, as you say.

Thank you for sharing some of your holiday ,you look as if you and Ashley had a wonderful time.The scenery looked beautiful .We are off to Zante soon and I am really looking forward to our holiday .Was the little fishing village with the harbour called Keri by any chance as somebody suggested a visit to me .Your food looked very tasty and appartments looked very comfy .We are staying near Laganas as its abit quieter at the end of the season and looking forward to visiting Zante Town on a local bus .Thank you again for a lovely vlog and take care .xx.

Zakynthos has been a firm favourite of ours for many years. We were fortunate enough to be there in May this year at the CAVO ORIENT HOTEL- highly recommended. Happy to see you both had a lovely holiday. xx

Love Zante. Been a few times and stayed in Agassi. Hired a car and drove around a lot of the island. Loved the vlog. Greece is so lovely. Ashley’s fish looked amazing and both the places you stayed in looked absolutely lovely. Thank you so much for sharing a bit of your holiday I thoroughly enjoyed watching it ❤
Thank you for sharing your holiday.We are in Western Crete for a month at the moment and in an apartment overlooking the sea,we always do self catering buying from local markets and eating out whatever time we like ,not keen on hotels and such preferring to do our own thing.
Bet you managed ok without mascara !! I decided not to bring my hair straighteners and give my hair a rest 🙃

It took me years to be converted to holidaying in Greece but I not been disappointed yet and your vlog has inspired me to add Zante to our list. And your sailing boat picture at the end deserves to be in a frame.

Hi Caroline - what a beautiful place. & I can only imagine from the video what a wonderful time & rest you had., without all the hustle & bustle of a complex. Would you go back there??? & did you find it expensive ?? The church was stunning I do find that in Spain/Greece they have the most beautiful places of worship (I wonder how long they take to complete ) -
Hi lorraine, we'd definitely go back there, and we found it cheaper to eat out etc than many of the other Greek islands.
