    1. The Big Donut lawsuit that was thrown out is likely referring to the damage we see in the Big Donut in "Joking Victim". That's the episode where Steven works at the Big Donut for a bit after Lars fakes a back injury to get out of work. Sadie says that the store gets the donuts delivered to it and that they haven't made donuts themselves since "the accident". Then we see the black outline of a past explosion on the wall with the silhouette of a person in the middle. But now that the workplace safety lawsuit has been thrown out, they've started making donuts again.
    2. I don't think we see the Gems really super-jump much in "Rising Tides/Crashing Skies", the Ronaldo documentary episode. But we have seen them do it before several times. Like in "Beach Party" when the Gems all jump away after wrecking Kofi's sign. And in "The Message", the episode where Greg helps the Gems figure out the message Lapis is sending them from Homeworld. That time, we see all the Gems jump away one by one but when Steven tries to jump after them, he gets a couple feet off of the ground and falls back down. So the floating powers are new to him (somewhat) and we haven't seen him super jump before this episode.
    3. We have actually seen Rose use this power briefly in "Story for Steven" when she's floating down to help young Greg up off of the ground. And if you really look closely, we've likely seen Steven use this power before as well. In "Rose's Scabbard", when Pearl is running away from Steven as he is trying to talk to her, there's a moment where he jumps across a huge gap to reach the floating rock Pearl is on. It's way too far of a jump for a normal human, but Steven seems to be making it, almost floating across. That is, until Pearl turns to look at him and hits Steven with this gut-wrenching face of complicated emotions. Steven then starts to fall rapidly and barely manages to grab onto some vines before falling completely. One could take this whole sequence as being just cartoon logic at work, but I think that if one rewatches it with Steven's floating powers in mind, it becomes apparent that this was intended to be a very early application of Steven's floating (and subsequent falling after having his emotions troubled by Pearl's expression). Like with Steven's super-strength and his telepathy, they often give us little sneak-peaks of Steven's powers before fully revealing them.
    4. Yeah, that's a reference to Hamlet. Specifically, the famous line spoken by Hamlet, "Alas, poor Yorick. I knew him Horatio" as he is holding Yorick's skull, although it is commonly misquoted as "I knew him well".
    5. Future vision is definitely something to take note of, but it is also important to keep in mind exactly what that power is. In "Future Vision", Garnet says this about it: "No one can see the future. I can see options and trajectories. Time is like a river that splits into creeks, or pools into lakes, or careens down waterfalls. I have the map, and I steer the ship." Many times when future vision is discussed, it is in terms of probabilities, like in "Hit The Diamond" when Sapphire said she foresaw that them all playing baseball was a possible future but that she's surprised this is the path they're taking (she saw it as an improbable future). And because of that reliance on probabilities, the power is not perfect. We saw that in "Cry For Help" too, where Garnet couldn't foresee them catching Peridot (because Pearl was actually the one fixing the Communication Hub) and couldn't foresee that Pearl was tricking her into fusing (likely because Pearl doing such a thing was so improbable to Garnet). I'm kind of belaboring the point, but it's because I often see people think that future vision is this omnipotent power that should give Garnet perfect foresight of everything, when the show has consistently shown us that isn't true. Garnet can foresee a lot, but she is capable of missing things too.
    6. In terms of Yellowtail being Sour Cream's step-dad, that's actually been known for a while. There were hints earlier, but they basically confirmed it in "Joy Ride" when Sour Cream is complaining about how his step-dad wants him to be a fisherman and then imitates the way Yellowtail talks. And then in "Onion Friend", when we finally meet Vidalia and go inside Onion's house, we get more confirmation that Vidalia married Yellowtail after Sour Cream was born. Amethyst didn't know that Vidalia had married Yellowtail despite "kids" being the reason they had fallen out of touch. So Vidalia had Sour Cream before she married Yellowtail. This also confirms that Onion and Sour Cream are half-brothers.
    7. In that same episode, we also get confirmation that Vidalia and Marty used to be together in the past. Amethyst asks Vidalia if she ever hears from ol' Farty Marty, to which Vidalia laughs and says that no, it's just been her and Yellowtail for a while. We also see some pictures from the past of Amethyst shapeshifting to look like Marty to make fun of him. And even earlier in "Story for Steven", we see young Marty and young Vidalia hop out of the back of Greg's van together after his show is over. So one could have put the pieces together and guessed that Marty is Sour Cream's dad earlier. But they go ahead and confirm it fully in this episode.
Sorry for the long comment but when a show is as intricately written as this one, it's hard to keep it short. Glad to see you're enjoying it.

🏆 Here is your award for what may be the longest comment left on one of my videos😅
Between that lawsuit being thrown out and Mr. Smiley working 90% of the job's in Beach City i'm not sure how I feel about BC's work culture lol.
Ah ok so Steven's only baby super jumped before. Got it.
It's insane how much foreshadowing there is in for the power reveals in this show. I'm gonna keep an eye out in the future for anything funky.
Nice I've got to read it one day!
So in short words future vision is just extremely good prediction. Got it.
I appreciate when they confirm connections like this because it can take me a while to put together the hints they give us.
Thanks again for the intricate comment. Here take another trophy

All I'm gonna say is: in "Story for Steven" we see Greg open the backdoors of his car, he looks shocked and then Vidalia and Marty jump out of there.

Fun fact! Garnet NEVER asks questions in the series outside of the episode "The Answer", in part because of her future vision. It really must have been a fine line to walk as a writer for the show bc Garnet has limited precognition AND refuses to directly ask questions

Everytime I hear Marty tell Greg that the music biz hasn't been as kind to Greg as it's been to him, I always say "Well at least father time has been"

I'm sorry to tell you that everyone picked up Marty was Sourcream's dad immediately. It's even confirmed on "Onion Friend" when Amethyst asks Vidalia about " Farty Marty".

I think the implication is that Sadie manages the shop and was probably the reason Lars was even able to get the job in the first place. We did see Lars close in an earlier episode though so its probably just up to the person who closed last to open the next day. It is confirmed that they're the only people who work there.

Okay so, I see this question alot. How do they have fresh Donuts right at opening. And I just, I don't understand why people ask this? I think it's pretty clear that they probably arrive prior to this, make the donuts, and then open the shop. Like I work in retail, and we don't open the moment we arrive. We open like, half an hour or 45 minutes after we arrive, so we have time to prepare the shop and everything for customers

Yeah, there's probably other workers that made the donuts early in the morning

As someone who used to make donuts, what I'm baffled by is that she mentioned "baking" them (and that a donut place opens at 7 or 7:30 and not like...5 am). The yeast donut process starts hours before the first one comes out of the fryer, with making and proofing the dough (often the night before). When it was my job to make the donuts I described the hellacious time I had to get up and go to work as "donut o'clock."
If you're getting fresh donuts at opening time someone has been in that store working for at least 2 hours.

So, I headcanon that floating isn’t exactly a rose quartz specific power, just that she’s the only one that managed to figure out how to do it consciously. Do what consciously? Remember when Amethyst was on the moon, and couldn’t float around? And peridot said that a gem’s gem automatically locks onto a planetary body and simulated a 1g environment regardless of the planetoid’s actual gravity? Well, in less words. Ergo, if a gem were able to take conscious control over this autonomic process, they could float around like Rose.

Posted two months ago or not, you mentioned this so many times that I still can't stop myself from commenting on this; we've already heard Onion talking before! When he talks to his dad, I think, in the episode with the guy figurines and then to his mom in the Onion friend episode if I remember correctly? And yeah, he does speak in mumbles lol
