The 'forrest-scene' at 10:22. Wgy is there this black abyss/black blob in the front of the MH25 video in which nothing can be seen, while the Flir shows perfect detail in the same area oO?
Yoo-hoo! Just pulled the trigger on a fusion set up ( through US Night Vision )and if it wasn’t for your video, it never would’ve happened! Even the sales rep that I’ve worked with and completed the sale with couldn’t confirm a proper image overlay. And I know anybody else researching this unit thinking of running it with a PVS 14 at the same time has asked themselves the same question.. I went through unit after unit, Reddit groups for Night Vision along with UA-cam, talking about field of view and I relief. But I couldn’t get that one piece of information when it came to the 1x magnification. And you guys sell a kit for the original V1 ! All this information has come to me about seven months into researching this unit for pairing it with the PVS - 14 😂❤ If I remember, I will update you guys on what I think of the set up* 🤞🏽
Hello. Quick question I live in the United States. Are you allowed to ship to the United States? If so, how does the money transfer work? What is the taxes? Where do I pay? Where do you ship from? How much money exactly do I need in American dollars to buy this product from you? Also. when you use This in conjunction with night vision PvS14. do the images line up merge together? Thank you for your time.
Would love to see a video with an without the protection, at the different levels offered and how the quality of image is effected. Would also love to see there durability vs 400fps .3s as that’s closer to what people are using in airsoft. Is the housing for the protector 3d printed? Would like to see one for the nvision line as I plan on using the mh for helmet and the halo x35 for gun.
Can you make a video on how you record from this unit? It says it has onboard recording but there is nothing in the manual on how to use it. I also have a mini dvr, but when trying to use the included cable to both power the device with the usb and connect the RCA splitter for video I get no signal? What are you using?
Ok I got it to record, only takes a picture with single tap, hold for 2 secs for video start/stop. Still can't get video output to dvr with video output enabled in menu and supplied cord, not sure what's going on there. @@coldharboursupply
Great video. My plan is have MH25w on the left, Pvs on the right and RH25 on the rifle that way I can flip up the right and go thermal on the gun really quickly. I feel like having the thermal on the left will protect from target loss as it may pick up what nv can’t see.
These are now discontinued and succeeded by the Jerry-YM 2.0. You can find those on our site now, currently sold out but restocking in a couple of weeks!
@@coldharboursupply How many exactly? Because the 9sec. of my old Pulsar are also "a few seconds", ... but way too many fews for my patience. And that Pulsar-device now being more than decade old i hope there has been some seroius improvement on startup-times?
@@coldharboursupply And another important question: Can this device be focused to an armlength distance? Because that's one thing a 1x device should be able to, giving the user the ability to do work with his hands at armlength with the device or two devices for binocular vision mounted to a helmet?
Image quality is very similar but rh25 will have more features and is able to be used in different ways (eg: as a clip-on as an example). It's also $1500 CAD more so they are in different leagues. Rh25 also weighs a lot more
Yes it is a common issue with the MH25 and other systems that don't have an image offset menu. The PFalcon does have image offset and this helps a lot.
@@coldharboursupply Image offset is only really needed for a fusion device like Jerry C and clip-on like the RH25. Because once you mount these devices, you can not adjust their position, so the image they produce can not be physically adjusted. The only way to move it to collimate with you night or day time optic is to move it via software. The downside is that in order to move the image via software a significant portion of the view range, provided by the thermal sensor, is not used. The image you see in the display is a rectangular but the actual image provided by the thermal sensor is a larger rectangular inside which the display picture can be moved by the software. At any time you see only the smaller rectangular in the display, the space to the border of the larger rectangular is not visible. All of this means that for a head mounted device it is best to make the adjustment of the image by physically moving the whole device instead of losing valuable view range by making it via software.
@@coldharboursupplyJust comparing the V1 with PVS14 eye piece and the V2, purely for head mounted use, do you think there is a significant benefit/improvement to the V2?
Have you guys done an EMCON test on this thing, by any chance? I'm curious to know if turning WiFi/BT off actually turns it *off*, or just tells it not to connect to anything. Could someone with WiGLE ping the monocular during a milsim game even if all the transmitters are "turned off" on the device? Great video!
Very good question, most people don't think of these things. I will be getting the RH25/Pfalcon and will be testing it out myself for this same concern, ill reply once I get the results. Id imagine it would be the same for the mh25. If i'm to guess it actually turns off the transceiver but who knows.
Can this also be weapon mounted? If so, whats the rating? And does it come with the mount, and what height will it bring it up to? Thanks for the video.😊
The RH line is designed to be dual rolled between helmet and weapon mounted. The MH line is designed to be helmet mounted. This is just an update to the MH25 that fixed bullshit issues. But I don't know anything.
Yep, it’s sad that many people still don’t understand how crucial margin adjustments are if you want a usable fused image. Imagine if your coti/jerry-c didn’t have them, you would be pretty pissed not having a collimated image. The concept is no different with bridged dual band, so if they didn’t add it as a feature they really screwed up.
@@rileyfrench3837 You loose a lot of FOV (field of view) in order to have software image shifting. Better to adjust the position of the whole monocular on the bridge. Panobridge seems like the best solution so far. I only wish they made it with adjustable IPD (inter pupillary distance).
@@simeon2148 What I’ve realized having bridged a bunch of different HMT/NV units (and owned 3 panobridge setups at one time): your IPD and how you are going to want to naturally view these images by physically adjusting them to your eyes is not enough to align/overlap the thermal image with the NV image in the other eye. In other words the physical adjustments you make on the bridge won’t be enough to correct some thermal units offset between the screen and the sensor/objective lens. Those margin adjustments are 100% necessary “if” you care about trying to look through both devices at once.

@@coldharboursupply Hey man, could you make a video regarding a comparison between the MH25v2, the PFalcon 384 and the 640? I see you sell all 3 of them but I haven't yet managed to find an in depth comparison. Instinctively I would go for the 640 but I see the battery life lasts about half the time of the 384 so I'm wondering what the benefits of the 640 are and if they justify such a short battery life. I also saw a brief image comparison between the 384 and the 640 in which it seems that the 384 isn't a true 1x image. Is this true?
