If your Ninebot Max tire leaks the air near the rim, use tubeles tire sealant.
Use only plastic tools.

Use zip ties for mounting the tire back, also pay attention to the tire direction! ;))

@@maincharacter2677 yeah, i ripped the tire in half, and still struggled a whole day because the puncture resistant glue on it melted and fused with the rim. Placed a solid tire to it, way easier to do if you boil it
once u got it right u can change the tire in 10 minutes, i need 3 days including a ton of tutorials, now its easy like drinking water.
A tip for anyone buying a scooter don’t buy one with numatic tyres you will regret it solid tyres only
But I heard pneumatic tires are more comfortable?
@@alexlee6859 Yes they are but they can be very difficult to change I have a background in both motorcycles and bike racing. I know how to change a tire and struggle with nine bot ties and at this stage only done front tire back will be more difficult to remove wheel currently trying a good re dose of tire slime possibly the best answer
the pneumatic tires feels so much smoother jus eat your wheaties mate muscle up
Also solid tyres shake the components and damage the scooter they also ratle and snap bolts
I am planning on mitigating these issues with better suspension, solid tires were the same price as pneumatic, only need to install them once and never look back
Changing electric scooter tire is the same as changing a tracker trail tire, it is not easy 😐

Tried replacing mine today. The self sealant was everywhere. What’s the best way to clean it? 5 hours later and the tire is in the wheel but I can’t seat it do to the sealant from the old tire.
true that gel is really messy :) soup, any old tshirt and then mounting the new one, dont forget to add soupy watter or tire changing paste, and pump up to 9BAR to sit the new tire in the place ;)

You do not need to remove tire to replave the valve. Tire levers we bought from Decathlon :)

Followed these steps but my tire will not bead not allowing it to pump up
Good effort to change that tire but bad system of the company because there is not an easy plug where to disconnect cables from that tire.the way this guy got it you have to disconnect many things that at the end is not worth it for the costumer and mechanic. The engineers of these days are missing few things everywhere!
Anyone know where to get the exact screw replacements for the bottom battery cover? A few have been damaged and after I get them off I won't be able to reuse them, so I need replacements. I was hoping I could get them from a hardware store.
Yes its regular screws, just go with an example screw and you will find them for a few cents ;)

Hello, just put them around the Tire, push the tire to become slim and push it to the rim as deep as possible (on the opposite direction than the valve is) so in that way you will get yours extra 5mm and it will be easy to put the tire on. So zip ties help to hold the tire in "slim" position and works as an additional hand :)
How you manage to pump till 9bar whit xiaomi pump
I replaced the tyre of my Ninebot today, but I could not pump up it.
The air is escaping because the inside of the tyres is not perfectly fitted and I have a manual pump.
With manual pump its hard, best is strong compressor. Also you could use belt to push tire to sides and then pump

Did everything but when I tried to put air doesn’t fill up. So my question is do I need a air compressor for it to work? Or can I just fill up in a gas station?

@@Shiftlt I had the same issue and managed to pump it with compressor but the wheel is wobbly because it isn't seated evenly on the rim. Have to take it out and put it back in and seat correctly :/

The hardest part, how did you get the cable disconnected?!
Its the easiest part, just unscrew the bottom plate of the scooter and disconnect the plug grom controller :)

I actually ended up buying a solid tyre, but couldn't fit the bugger. I don't think it's too small, I just can't get the SOB on. So I just brought new tubes and some slime instead. Shitloads easier.

Now we are using air compressor, also you should lube the tire and if its not sotting into the place so sometimes its necessary to pumpt it to 8-9bars to sit ir to the place

i would recomend about 3.5bar :) in video I put 4.5bar to get good seal. On xiaomi pump you can set the value you want.

Hello, yes sometimes there are micro holes so the air leaks little by little. We use tubeless tire sealant the same as for bikes. It works great and fully solves the problem. We use this one: www.shift.lt/en/shop/352-ninebot-max-tire-sealant.html
but probably other brands works as well, so just go to local bicycle shop and ask for tubeless sealant ;) good luck!
After mounting the tire, it wouldn't inflate. I even tried using a starting fluid and fire to seat the bead and it still didn't work? Do you have any ideas I could try?
I have the same air pump. What is that attachment on the end you hooked up.

by using two of then at the same sports is easy to unmount the tire. Also zip ties is a must for easier installation the tire back :) also 2.5mm hex, 18mm regular took.

sorry for late replay, you should lube it in all parts, soapy watter or tire montage gell, and sometimes pump it even up to 11bars so seat it in place.

Ninebot max is a lot better option than m365. Xiaomi 90% of the times wears out from the inside, because of tube rubs itself into the tire. So jusp pumt it to 55psi on MAX or 65-70PSI on M365 and should be a lot more resistant.

These are called "tire levers." Any bike store that sells handy bike tools will carry them.
we bought ours in Decathlon, best of all we tried.

As it was the same tire, so its easier, aftet putting 100+of them we could tell that it could be really hard to sit it to the place. Use tire lube and pump it to 10-11bars untill it sits to place and then reduce the presure to 3.5bars :)
I finally got the tire on the rim, and I needed two other guys actively helping me. It makes sense that you’re using an old tire because there’s no way one could just snap a brand new tire into place like that with bare hands, unless you’re just freakishly strong lol
60/70 6.5 tires are such worst without having any brand names on the tires and you should watch james angelo tv on his video with segway ninebot g30 with blade gt parts and you would be surprised the way he built his into different and man he has bezt tuners ive ever heard

it was new motors without side pannels, you do not need to remove them then maounting the tire ;)

Remove the bottom plate, remove reflective stickers on the sides, so you can find screws, and disassemble so you could take it easy.

Then mounting the tire so you can pump up to 10bars, so the tire will poop up in place and then leave about 3.5-4.5 bars for riding. Its our recommendation.

@@Fa-id4nf 3.4 its also ok. We wiuld not recommend having less than 3, as its get easy to loose air on bumps. And with ~4 barts yiu tires will last longer, scooter will have better range, maybe loose a bit of comfort :)

I really can not understand how you can install the tire so easily.... I tried 30 minutes and gave up...
If it does not poop up on the rim so try to lubricate it better and pump to 10bar and leave untill it poops up in place. If its hard to put it in rim, so use zipties to help you hold tire squeezed.

@@dingdangmao2023 and then it will poop up in place, so its recomended to add some tureless tire sealant which is used for tubeless bicycles, its helps to seal micro gaps between the tire and rim, as they're apears sometimes and leaks air very slowly.

yes, its not that easy, in video real time it took me, with setting up video gear took 1.5hour, but after we changed 50+ of them so it takes about 20-30minutes :) but true that its pain in the ass for the first times ;D

Hands down the worse wheel design I have ever worked on for a escooter, fitting the new tyre is nothing like shown. Taking it off was even worse.
true, its hard, even to take it off :) but it has great sealing then addind just a bit of sealant liquid, for our rent scooters it holds air perfect even after 6 months! So its really hard to work with this tires, but from longetivity they are the best from our point of view :)

FAKE VIDEO. It is imposible to make by hand. They should have cut a strip of rubber to fit so easily.

Shitty advice. Using iron lever won't damage the rim, maybe scratch it a bit. Don't give yourself unnecessary stress by using the filmsy plastic level. Go ahead and use a proper long metal lever. It will make the job much more easier.
scratch a bit is not an option then you repair client's scooters. Best tool would be metal levers covered by plastic, but we didn't found them to buy. Also using two black plastics does the job. It was the first time i changed the G30 MAX tire and took in on camera, now i do it alot easier ;)

i was doing it in bad way, then i was filming this video - i done it for the first time, so i cut the parts where i was doing it wrong :) but its true that its really hard to replace the tires for ninebot max :)

you didn't got the point, with the forks etc. It's not recommended to use metal parts that can scratch the rim, so the ail will leak if there are some scratches.
Save time and just cut the old tire off

Actually not, for me Xiaomi m365 Pro is a lot easier, but I changed 1000+ Xiaomi tires and only 1 Ninebot Max :)

Well I have tough luck on removing the M365 tyres plus I always bring my M365 Pro ver. to my local Mi service centre to service my M365 Pro tyre replacement and it costs quite a lot actually, $80NZD for the hard labour and without providing them tyres & tube = $120NZD service fee gosh!
