The Charlatans, were joined by various members of New Order, Beady eye and the Manic Street Preachers onstage and a DJ set by the Chemical Brothers, in a fitting tribute to the late Charlatans drummer. Was a truly fantastic night in a brilliant venue. Liam was on fire that night.
He sounds "different" now because of a couple reasons. 1-He is older now 2-He spent years screaming through his throat, can't do it anymore and needs to change his way of singing to save whats left of it. 3-He knows he needs to be careful and not push it.
4. Cigarettes and Alcohol 5. "sniffing it through a cane on a supersonic train" 6. also he's said he never warms up his voice before singing, big mistake
Your 2nd and third part are the main reasons... the fact he is older is not quite as impactful as you think... there are many artists who age, and keep relatively the same voice... Liam's voice literally changes every album in Oasis
No need to explain this....no one explains why paul McCartney and Elton john and rod Stewart to name but a few voices arent as good as they used to be when they were younger.......maybe because liams voice was so unique and incredible people can see the difference more because it was that good on his prime
That version sounded so clear, so well balanced yet powerful, it sounded better than the Songbird B-side-live version....Sharrock does an amazing job, Liam's voice fits it perfectly.
Bonehead played lead on “up in the sky “ in “live by the sea” the first live concert by oasis I had it on vhs 94 I think , and he played it on a les Paul jr ,id go as far as saying he was a better guitarist than Noel back then , but Noel was the boss and had hair so bonehead couldn’t be lead guitarist according to Noel .
when bonehead left oasis it was the same feeling \vibe as when Lennon left the Beatles :P this bonehead is a musical genius i knowone when i see one ...

Nice to see Bonehead playing some riffs, but not the main solo, even Andy held back playing that solo that Noel usually kills on.
That version sounded so clear, so well balanced yet powerful, it sounded better than the Songbird B-side-live version....Sharrock does an amazing job, Liam's voice fits it perfectly.
