The Doppelganger Detection Department (D.D.D.) needs you!
There is a vacancy for the doorman position in your building and since you need the money and can't find a job you have no choice.
It's 1955 and for unknow reasons doppelganers are more common than normal, so the D.D.D. has taken action on the matter.
Your job will be to allow or deny the entry of the subjects who request entry to the building, it seems easy, but be careful, you can't overlook any detail because you could be food for doppelgangers.

I wonder if in the future when this game is more developed, you might get people visiting other people? Because of how they end some of the phone calls 'we aren't expecting visitors today' makes it sound like in the future they may be expecting some!
Either way, I'm loving this playthrough! I'm hooked!
I hope they have it where sometimes the residents change their features, like when Roman left his hat at home in the first episode, or if one of the neighbors with facial hair shaves, to throw curveballs
I was thinking this. Like having to check different paperwork for visitors or having like a visitor pass.
I was also thinking if they could add like others ways of dealing with doppelgangers. Like they start trying to break the glass or something goes wrong with the lockdown.
What I find funny is that the hotline you call rings twice before someone picks up. Like I'd think it's rather import
They don't answer the first ring so it filters out accidental calls and other mistakes

I DO like this game a lot. It turned me onto your channel. The "HOOON" guy gave me nightmares last night! I'm confused about some of the logic though. If there are so many Dopps running rampant in public, why don't the tenants get knocked off the moment they go out? If maneating proto-humanoids are everywhere, why are kids going to school by themselves? Wouldn't it be easier to pick people off AFTER they go outside than to try to get through a special anti-Dopp checkpoint? I can overlook it for the enjoyment of the game, but I hope they address what's going on outside in this world going forward.
I think there is a spinoff game and a vid of this guy playing it is on the channel (uploaded recently just look through his uploads)
I haven't watched it myself but maybe it'll explain some things
maybe they're not that physically strong and need to ambush humans while they sleep or otherwise let their guard down. maybe it's just their instinct to stalk.
