I can report that mine was near perfect out of the box. I find that reverse flicking with my index finger is the easiest method to access the blade hole.
100% same problem with the super strong detent. Bought it direct from CJRB. Told them the problem, sent a video of it on their request. They sent a mailing label for return and sent a new one. The replacement is same as the first one. I have a couple of dozen CJRB/ Artisan knives and this is the first one I've had a complaint with. I love everything about the knife except for the crappy action. It's not the design, it's the execution.
Couldn’t agree more, generally they are flawless-but this one, I’ve heard a few having this issue
Thanks for the review
My pleasure, thanks for watching!
Mine is sharp but that lock is too damn stiff but it's getting better
It will loosen within time, took a little bit but mine finally did. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Where can we get those thumb studs at?
Amazon
@@edgblades fantastic. Except all I found on there were much more generic looking ones.
Those studs are for buck 110. So i grinded mine with small file to use it on 3mm blade
@@bazzzker I bought em 2 months ago now.
