    You set the standard for quality, another great project. Nice to see Gaius, Blueberry, and team on the job site. A shout out to Pat, you must be very proud of your family.

    I'd like to see this done without a crane. Just to see how y'all would tackle such a job without the help of the crane. So I can get an idea on how I could do it with minimal equipment.

      Absolutely, our Purely Post & Beam course teaches timber frame design, engineering, cutting and raising by hand. We offer both an in person and online version at the link in the description. We use our crane on all Shelter Design Build, our design build firm, projects.

    This is so cool! Do you have plans and cut sheets available for a 24x36 version of this project?

    • @ShelterInstitute
      @ShelterInstitute  9 місяців тому +2

      Not yet! All of the cut sheets currently offered are available on Shelter Tools. We are always working to add new designs!

      Wonderful. I will take a look. This would be a perfect barn design for our needs.

    This one is a clearspan bent unlike the normal 24x24 with center post and loft. Is the 24 ft clearspan ever built with a loft? Maybe size up to 8x12 tie beams?

    Do you have a link for the sheet product based cedar shakes / cedar shingles you used? Awesome video by the way!

    Great looking build, may I ask how many days of design time and frame preparation were taken?

    • @ShelterInstitute
      @ShelterInstitute  9 місяців тому

      Great question! Design, engineering and cutting took five days total on this frame

    Eudura roof panels too? Looks like OSB and EPS. Eudura not able to size for roof panels yet? Curious how they compare to SIPs. Did you make the barn doors with Eudura panels?

    • @ShelterInstitute
      @ShelterInstitute  9 місяців тому +2

      At the time of this project we were not able to get roof panel lengths in EDURA. We are still learning a lot about them, as they are such a new product but so far they are great. We did use them for the barn doors as well!

    i am curious. What will you do with this building once you come back and take it down???? Sell it at a discount, or maybe do a giveaway?
