You need to listen to the song "Contrapunto para Humano y Computadora" by El Cuarteto de Nos, it's a kind of rap battle against a computer. The song may be a little slow, but it is quite curious and original.
Oh man! I am Argentinian (neighbors of Uruguay) and "Cuarteto de Nos" is a f*cking amazing band! I would recommend you to listen to "Lo malo de ser bueno" (the bad thing about being good) is the same album of this song you heard; and if you liked the lyrical "La Nena no llora" (Little girl doesn't cry) is insane -it is a song written for the vocalist's child and it's amazingly beautiful (I know you are sensitive with that but I think it would make you want to hug your kids) Love you Luke, waiting for more reaction!!!❤
Not expecting this at all! One of my fav bands! There is a song from them called "Yendo a la casa de Damian" where they do what you said, the lyrics rhyme in spanish and english on purpose, this songs was just a coincidence, but Roberto, the singer is a genious writer, all their songs have a quirk or a gimmick. Hope to see more of this band on the channel! Some recomendations, "Lo malo de ser bueno" "Habla tu espejo" "El hijo de Hernandez" "Mi lista negra" "Miguel Gritar" but honestly, they have no bad songs, so do whatever! great reaction!
This band it one of those that you start to really enjoy when you start getting older, the themes and lyrics hit harder after you had to work your ass off, pay taxes, have kids and all that stuff thay young people can't even immagine.
Oh man el Cuarteto de Nos are such an amazing band! You could practically make a whole channel analysing their songs and lyrics bc of how good and consistent they are (and funny too lol). Some of my favorites are: -Rorschach -Miguel Gritar -Mario Neta -Buen Día Benito -La Ciudad sin Alma -Fiesta en lo del Dr Hermes
Great Great band, greetings and tears of joy from Uruguay.🇺🇾 I recommend "Yendo a la casa de Damian" ("Going to Damian's House"). Fun song that can also be seen as a parody of all the foreign words that we use in the Spanish language or that we assimilate daily.
They are a GREAT band !! Every song is as amazing as this one, and very unique everyone of them. Each piece perfectly thinked and created. Voice, lirycs, music, instruments, deepness, composition... everything. They are genuises !
God, I was surprised that you reacted to Cuarteto de Nos, it is one of my favorite bands and I literally grew up with their songs, I was lucky enough to go to several of their concerts and attend some of their live interviews, I highly recommend that you listen "llendo a la casa de Damián" "lo malo de ser bueno" "no soy el hijo de hernandez" "no quiero ser como vos" y "maldito invierno del 93"
Ah, Great band! Used to listen to them a lot during my years in school! This is one of their better songs; Though my personal favorite has to be "Buen Día Benito" (Good morning, Benito). In short, it talks about him going to pay a "Friendly little visit" to someone who has wronged him *a lot* throughout his life. Loved the reaction and hope to see more in the future! Cheers from Buenos Aires
Hi, there. As an Uruguain i'm so happy that you got to listen and know El Cuarteto de Nos, i love them, the humor in their very smart lyrics is great. Their name in English mean Quartert of Us. If want to check more music from Uruguay, i would recommend, rock bands like, La Vela Puerca, No te va a gustar, Buitres, La Trampa, Snake, Trosky Vengaran, Once Tiros. Pop: Natalia Oreiro. Cumbia Plena: Luana. Cumbia not from the capital: Lucas Sugo, Matias Valdez. Cumbia Pop: Agustín Casanova, Marama, Toco para vos. Folcklore: Larbanois & Carrera, Alberto Zitarrosa. And famous names like Ruben Rada, Jaime Ross.
im so happy you liked cuarteto de nos luke! its personally one of my favorite bands but it doesnt get that much recognition sadly, theres a song from them that i think you should definetly check out next and its called "lo malo de ser bueno", aside from that, loved the reaction!
"cuarteto de nos": one of the best bands for me. not only because of the mix of musical styles (rock, rap, cumbia, etc.) but also because they have great lyrics. You have to look for a good translation to understand how amazing this band is.
La banda fue creada en el interior de la República en el año 1984 y aun subsiste , mas veteranos pero se pudieron dedicar 100 % a la música , en un principio no , disfrutalos , son geniales 🎉
In Uruguay they have a band named 4 pesos de Propina also known a 4 pesos and have a song well worth it name My Revolucion aka My revolution wich is da bomb hope you react to it in the future Sincerely Gabriel from Springfield Virginia USA Ciao
i think the best thing of this band are definetly the lyrics. Dont get me wrong, I really enjoy how they sound too, but for me their lyrics are its "strong point" (sorry, I don't know if I'm saying this right lol). Other songs I recommend are "Miguel gritar" and "Lo malo de ser bueno". Greetings from Chile!
so happy to see you checking these guys out!! I'm gonna second the recommendation of "yendo a la casa de damian" on account of the deliberate english end-rhymes, and because it's a good look at their habit of writing songs that border on the absurd. In some ways, the story they tell turns out the way it does for no other reason than that it has to rhyme, but that doesn't make it any less enticing!
Listen to "Lo malo de ser bueno" that one leans into contradictions a lot more and is more humoristic, "Yendo a la casa de Damián" is also humorous and that one might rhyme in English some more due to the way it was written
Don't translate the names of songs..., another excellent songs can be Flan, Vida Ingrata, El Rey y El As, Mirenme, Habla tu Espejo, Frankenstein Posmo, Nuevamente, Natural
Have you reacted to The Warning already?? If not, you really should, also I'm so glad you reacted to Cuarteto de Nos, they are really a legendary band!!!! Ive seen a few comments asking for "Yendo a la casa de Damian" and yeah you totally should react to that song, is my favorite from them
No way, Cuarteto de Nos! I’ve been waiting for someone to react to them, they’re one of my all time favorites! I started watching your videos because of your reactions to Soda Stereo (another big favorite of mine), and they’re so good! I just watched your reaction to Génesis, it was top notch! Keep up the good work ✨ Like many in the comments section, if you want to keep listening to Cuarteto de Nos, I also recommend Yendo a la Casa de Damián, Contrapunto para Humano y Computadora, and El Hijo de Hernández. They’re gonna blow you away! Thank you so much for appreciating Latin American artists. Sending you lots of positive energy from Colombia 🇨🇴 PS: If you also want to check out some Colombian rock, I highly recommend Aterciopelados! Songs like Bolero Falaz, La Estaca, and Baracunatana are right up your alley. Also, as an interesting side note, their lead singer, Andrea Echeverri, collaborated with Soda Stereo on a version of En La Ciudad de la Furia in the same MTV Unplugged performance where you watched Génesis. In my opinion, the best version of that song. Since you already reacted to that song, you should check that one out too! A completely different take. Anyways, I’ve gone overboard with my comment. Cheers!
I ussually dont tend to comment on videos but thought I might wanna give a few recommendations for that band and another band id love to see your reaction to :) Roberto Lo malo de ser bueno Habla tu espejo Contrapuntos pasa humano y computadora (This one specially) Hobre con alas La bestia Insaciable Habla tu espejo Asi soy yo Another I reccomend is mecano. They have really nice music and i think youll love it. Been listening to some on their songs since I was a kid :) Especifically Solo soy una persona, Hijo de la luna, y Maquillaje to start, but if you have time itd be nice to see some others aswell Anyway, just wanted to let you know I love your videos and I hope it continues to make you happy, I hope I didnt sound too socially akward, love your videos and I hope you enjoy making them as much as we love watching them ❤
Ahhhhh.... Luke listening El cuarteto de nos??...This is incredible hahaha Welcome to El Rio de la Plata, Luke. First, disclaimer 1 bc you asked ... you pronouced wrong the "E" on "Cuarteto" hehe. It's not your fault, it"s bc in Spanish it's a bit different from English and "E" is pronounced similar to English A.. So... in Spanish, E is more or less like /e/. Some context for you from the Argentinian side of El Rio de la Plata... El cuarteto de nos is an Uruguayan band known for the sarcasm and irony on their lyrics (disclaimer 2: I'll try my best with translations🙏🤷♀️) They have songs like "Me amo" (I love me) or "No quiero ser normal" ( I don't want to be normal) This song "Ya no se que hacer conmigo" Talks about a lot of contradictions he seems to have (in my opinion very accurate to the Argentinian society 😅🤷♀️) My fav part says " Y oigo una voz, que dice sin razón, "Vos siempre cambiando, ya no cambias más" y yo estoy cada vez más igual, ya no sé que hacer conmigo" (And I hear a voice that says without reason "You, always changing, you won't change anymore" and I stay the same... I no longer know what to do with myself") If you liked El cuarteto de nos, I recommend you to listen the songs: El hijo de Hernandez Yendo a la casa de Damian No quiero ser normal Cuando sea grande No llora And also other two great Uruguayan bands La vela puerca No te va a gustar. Have a wonderfull weekend and greetings from Argentina🤗🇦🇷
You have to listen to SIAMÉS. They mix indie pop, alternative rock and electro in a unique way. Their songs are super catchy and have lyrics that touch your heart. Plus, their animated music videos, like "The Wolf", are incredible. Seriously, it's a musical and visual experience that you can't miss.
@@mariiamn747 They are incredible, I saw them live in Buenos Aires at the end of their world tour last year and it was wonderful and they even presented anticipated songs, this year they will also do another tour and I hope to see them again 🐺
Well they actually have a song full of contradictions and paradoxes, it is called "Lo malo de ser bueno" (the bad about being good) another master song in writing, with phrases like "cheap is expensive", "I always do what I whant, I can not hold it", "thanks god I am atheist" or, "is a certainity that every thing is deceitfull." The choruss is like: "is enought, too much ambiguity, this life will kill me, my empy heart does no endures another void, and there is the one who sais, the peace novel in a murder will end, the bad about being good I guess." The other Well know anger of the band is... "Raro" (wreid), aboud an unease feeling hunting the singer, and he recalls his shit life to find the cause of the bad feeling.
Hey man, please try to listen to ¨Lo malo de ser bueno¨ (The downside of being good), it´s musically and lirically amazing. Congrats for a really nice reaction
Si quieres tener una buena canción también te recomiendo contrapunto para humano y computadora, es como un rap en donde se ataca tanto el humano (el cantante) y a la tecnología, es decir, a la computadora como si fuese IA. English: If you want to have a good song I also recommend counterpoint for human and computer, it's like a rap where both the human (the singer) and the technology, that is to say the computer as if it were AI.
You need to listen to Mario Neta, it's a kick ass song and a great video with a catchy cumbia and rock fusion. The lyrics are humorous, ironic and deep.
Hola Luke saludos, no se me da bien el inglés pero apreciaría que reaccionaras a una banda llamada Los Enanitos Verdes con la canción "Lamento Boliviano". Cuidate
You should listen to this 3 songs: Yendo a la casa de Damián (maybe the best for english listeners) El hijo de Hernandez (prob the best vocal in the entire band) Contrapunto para humano y computadora (believe me, you HAVE to see that)
I LOVE that you're reacting to latin music ❤ Could you please react to a 🇲🇽Mexican song called "El pastor" by Mariachi Vargas? It's gonna be a new experience! Trust me...

I’ve already pretended to be good and had a bad reputation
I’ve already been ethical and erratic
I’ve already been skeptical and fanatic
I’ve already been apathetic and methodical
I’ve already been modest and chaotic
I’ve already read Arthur Conan Doyle

I’ve already slept on a mattress and a box spring
I’ve already dyed my hair
I’ve been against and in favor
What used to give me pleasure now gives me pain
I’ve already been on the other side of the counter

Many of my lies have already become truths
I made adversities easy
And complicated myself with trivialities
And I hear a voice that says, with reason
"You’re always changing, you won’t change anymore"
And I’m becoming more and more the same
I don’t know what to do with myself anymore
I already had a facelift, I got a piercing
I went to see the Dream Team and there was no feeling
I tattooed Che on my buttock
Above "mom" so it wouldn’t fade
I’ve already laughed and didn’t give a damn
About things and people that now scare me
I fasted for pointless causes
I’ve already overstuffed myself with rotisserie chicken
I’ve already gone to a psychologist, a theologian
I’ve already gone to an astrologer, a wine expert
I’ve already been an alcoholic and a kiss-up
I’ve already been anonymous and I’ve already dieted
I’ve already thrown stones and spit
At the place where I now work
And my file says non-stop
That I behaved well and caused a mess
And I hear a voice that says, without reason

Ahhhhh....
Luke listening El cuarteto de nos??...This is incredible hahaha
Welcome to El Rio de la Plata, Luke.
El cuarteto de nos is an Uruguayan band known for the sarcasm and irony on their lyrics
(disclaimer 2: I'll try my best with translations🙏🤷♀️)
They have songs like "Me amo" (I love me) or "No quiero ser normal" ( I don't want to be normal)
This song "Ya no se que hacer conmigo"
Talks about a lot of contradictions he seems to have (in my opinion very accurate to the Argentinian society 😅🤷♀️)
My fav part says
" Y oigo una voz, que dice sin razón, "Vos siempre cambiando, ya no cambias más" y yo estoy cada vez más igual, ya no sé que hacer conmigo" (And I hear a voice that says without reason "You, always changing, you won't change anymore" and I stay the same... I no longer know what to do with myself")
If you liked El cuarteto de nos, I recommend you to listen the songs:
El hijo de Hernandez
Yendo a la casa de Damian
No quiero ser normal
Cuando sea grande
No llora
And also other two great Uruguayan bands
La vela puerca
No te va a gustar.
Have a wonderfull weekend and greetings from Argentina🤗🇦🇷
mi banda favorita 🤩

Hell yeah!
ESTE GRINGO ME LLENA DE ORGULLO 🗣!

I’m from uruguay, check Buenos Muchachos
❤🇺🇾💙 Cuarteto de nos
I recommend you to react to La Vela Puerca-Llenos de magia, another well known uruguayan band
You have to listen to SIAMÉS. They mix indie pop, alternative rock and electro in a unique way. Their songs are super catchy and have lyrics that touch your heart. Plus, their animated music videos, like "The Wolf", are incredible. Seriously, it's a musical and visual experience that you can't miss.
omg yeessss
@@mariiamn747 They are incredible, I saw them live in Buenos Aires at the end of their world tour last year and it was wonderful and they even presented anticipated songs, this year they will also do another tour and I hope to see them again 🐺
@@julianmax5104 oh so cool, i hope you get to see them again, espero que tengan mas reconocimiento btw
you should check out "Raro" or "Invierno del 92" fkn masterpieces, "no llora" too, it's a bit more sentimental
"Roberto" de Cuarteto de Nos
Tip, the songs of El Cuarteto listen to them with lyrics in English.
Tnx ,i like usa ,song's from 🇺🇾
Waiting for VL saga
Well they actually have a song full of contradictions and paradoxes, it is called "Lo malo de ser bueno" (the bad about being good) another master song in writing, with phrases like "cheap is expensive", "I always do what I whant, I can not hold it", "thanks god I am atheist" or, "is a certainity that every thing is deceitfull."
The choruss is like: "is enought, too much ambiguity, this life will kill me, my empy heart does no endures another void, and there is the one who sais, the peace novel in a murder will end, the bad about being good I guess."
The other Well know anger of the band is... "Raro" (wreid), aboud an unease feeling hunting the singer, and he recalls his shit life to find the cause of the bad feeling.
Aquí existen muchas bandas y muy buenas,te recomiendo que escuches la Vela Puerca,No te va gustar,Once tiros,La tabare... saludos.
EL HIJO DE HERNANDEZ
You should listen "Miguel Gritar" (Screaming Michael) and "El hijo de Hernández" (the son of Hernández)
No es un rap,es un contrapunto,se canta en décimas como la payada.
Cuidate
You should listen to this 3 songs:
Yendo a la casa de Damián (maybe the best for english listeners)
El hijo de Hernandez (prob the best vocal in the entire band)
Contrapunto para humano y computadora (believe me, you HAVE to see that)
