That's the best part of HxH, it shows perspective of negative character as well, and negative characters also has good vs bad part, just like normal human being. As you correctly said, they are not "Stereotypical villans"

I'm 4 minutes in, and those are details literally no other reactor ever gets.
This anime is so great at hyping you up for what's to come. It introduces such compelling characters that you can't wait to see what they do next.
And it doesn't disappoint.
Togashi's ability to introduce new characters is amazing. There's dozen new characters, none of them look the same and they certainly easily distinguished
Togashi is excellent. he's got style.
he's also talented at cinematography. his panel design and compositions in each panel are radically different from most mangas.
some of them are so intricate, and some are raw scribbles. it's form follows function. depends on the atmosphere and emotions, he will draw in completely different styles.
he's more conceptual than most manga artists.
4:04 Yes, he's the guy who was tied up in the previous episode. The subtitles said "Put him away for now", but Dalzollene actually said "額に入れて飾っておけ". The literal translation is "Frame him and put him on display".
Yeah the HunterXHunter sub gets some of the translations a bit off. There's an especially bad one later where a character says "I owe you one" when in the manga he actually says "You owe me one."
@@tortoiseoflegends4466 Yeah, but things are a little different in that scene. Because the original Japanese dialogue for that scene omits both the subject and object. In Japanese, the subject and object are often omitted. If the translator had understood the meaning behind the line, they would have been able to translate it correctly, but If they cut out just that sentence, it won't be translated correctly.
@@tortoiseoflegends4466 definitely!! i was soooo mad that they got that wrong...!!! because it completely utterly change the meaning, on a philosophical level. it's so sad when translation are complete off or even opposite of the original meanings. it happened a lot in HxH unfortunately. the English translators did NOT understand Japanese and Japanese culture, belief, and the author's intentions. it's infuriating.
I'm barely resisting the urge to simply even say "THIS ONE! My favorite of the troupe!" just to not build any expectations for you. But I'm so excited to see which ones will be your favs throughout the story
To clarify, there are two auctions: The underground auction run by the mafia where the Troupe is planning to steal, and the Southern Piece auction which is the worlds largest legitimate auction where Gon and Killua are trying to buy Greed island.
The phantom troupe theme is one of my favourites, I find myself entranced everytime I hear it.
Maybe some people already told you that :
Isayama took a lot of inspiration of Phantom Troupe's character for Attack on Titan.
Like Pakunoda = Annie
Shalnark = Armin but here you said it yourself that he looks like him
Feitan = Levi
And I think Phinks for Reiner
There were indeed a few voice actors that should be familiar among the troupe. Apart from the ones you already noticed, Feitan (levi look alike) has L's va and the chief has light yagamis va

Attack On Titan is a very new story, it came out in 2009. Hunter x Hunter came out in 1998.
to note, 'Boss' and 'Chief' are both translations of the japanese word 'Dancho', which refers to either.
Yeah it's cool that you mention the character resemblances, because it's confirmed that the appearances of Annie and Levi were based off of Pakunoda and Feitan respectively, also I wouldn't be surprised at all if Shalnark inspired Armin's appearance
the phantom troupe leader is such an interesting character, I'm sure you will enjoy and want more of him

You finally had your first look at all the Phantom Troupe members (they are awesome) and it says a lot about Togashi that you get introduced to a lot of new characters and they are easily distinguished from each other

Actually, Isayama was a fan of the original HxH manga and took inspiration from Feitan for Levi and Pakunoda for Annie. Not sure if Shalnark is a coincidence though

No, hisoka already informed that they’ll having meeting on sept 1st, however machi said its getting advanced to 30th august not just for those who find it convenient that day

If he watched Chainsaw Man where it's hard to find female characters who *aren't* "groomers", he shouldn't have a problem with Mushoku Tensei. I don't particularly care about either of them, though.

Not really, anime onlies seems to really like it. Even the imdb scores with all the bomb reviews before the epiosde launched from one piece fans, mappa hater, ending hater, still get 8.7.
People who even dislikes it or hates it sometimes still talk about it on twitter or reddit like they can't move on. Besides, everything that ends will naturally fade away in active discussion. Time to move on I guess.
