We did all of this and are still having issues, so time to call a professional. Thank you.

I had to revisit my system as the dishwasher showed signs of hard water again.. This time I noticed the water draining out during the regen cycle was not a gallon a minute. Not even close..I took the hose off at the pump and the flow from the pump was really strong. I blew through the hose and it was really clogged. Whatever it was came out and the water flow is perfect now. .. Everything is fine. I’ll periodically check this drain hose….

Our water is hard and after each regeneration we have a lot of air in our lines (toilets surge after each flush, and faucets sputter - for first day following regeneration). Would greatly appreciate suggestions. Thank you!

Hi, air in your lines after a regen indicates that the softener is sucking in air during the brine draw (step #2). Check the connection at the head and also at the brine tank.

What if the brine tank water level isn't drawing/going down, but water is bypassing to the drain? I have a Morton system. I've changed the venturi. Rebuilt the rotor assembly. New rotor and gasket. I'm not sure what else I'm missing.
