The young lady at the end seemed to really be turning her life around for the better. I wish her the very best of luck! It’s so nice to see someone taking their court case serious, trying to learn from their mistakes and better themselves.

Judge Boyd had someone observing her earlier this week. She was explaining how public defense work, how difficult it is to get attorneys to take these cases, how woefully poorly they are compensated. She respects these attorneys who takes these tough cases.
Hope the Wendy’s woman gets it together like she plans.

The young lady at the end will prosper with the self confidence instilled in her now. The color of her skin matters not, so why mention it? Do you comment when there is someone of another "color". Do you say "The white woman in the yellow shirt"?? stupid is as stupid does.

There’s only a small few people I’ve seen in these court videos where I think “this person is 100% sincere about making positive changes to their life and they seem equipped to do it“, but she’s one of them

shes a terrible judge. ive seen her completely misunderstand male issues and points of view. anyone can do what she does. all she does is punish people....easiest job in the world. she judges people professionally. anyone can do that

You can tell when judge Boyd sees potential in young people. She takes the time giving them guidance to be successful in life. This is where she truly shines! She is a national treasure. The young lady has immense potential and I wish her well!
The last young lady was an inspiration. I hope she sticks to it.

I was thinking the same. The way he was trying to cite constitutional rights was a red flag. Lovely Judge Boyd shut down his nonsense.

That fool just wants someone who will tell him every crazy thing he says is correct. And to tell him he is innocent of any crimes, regardless of what he has actually done. He can't afford a lawyer. He knows it. And if he had anyone who supported him, he wouldn't need to be out in order to find a lawyer, his loved ones would do it for him. Probably burned all of his bridges.
The second case blew me away. This young gal was able to tell the Judge everything she is doing to do things right. She seems to be trying hard to get her life on track. Plus pretty respectful of the Court. Stay strong!! Keep going...you have a lifetime ahead of you... Proud of what I saw!!!
I loved how she knew all the details about working at Wendys. Some people say they work at a place but you can tell they aren't really working anywhere because they don't have any clue how the job is done. This woman knew all about the burgers, but, most important, she knew how to communicate and interact with the judge. I hope she succeeds in her life...at this moment, she seems to be moving in the right direction.
For a minute I was a little concerned when she was downplaying the fact that she had the drugs in her bra and was saying she had been sober, she just had them. She really impressed me with how she is trying to turn her life around and what she wants her life to become. I just hope that she wasn’t blowing smoke.
Love her! A lawyer can defend you successfully while believing or knowing that you are guilty of the offenses. He can always take the stand at his trial and argue his points if his wants, or he can represent himself.
And that’s why Most lawyers are scumbags for Defending guilty people And releasing them to commit crimes and chaos on the streets

Her videos should be shown to anyone who is going to be a judge, even when aggravated she is even tempered, clear, and fair.
I pray this young mother was touched by Judge Boyd’s words. I also wish for her much success. She’s a bright young lady, very well spoken and I think it only takes one person that cares to turn someone’s situation around.

I think Judge Boyd’s little off track stories are great. They also make the judge seem more real and human - not just there to hand out punishment.

She uses the authority of her position & the court's resources to help people make better choices & to show them there is a better way, because I truly care about you & I'll do everything I can to help you succeed. When she's relating to the defendants, I really enjoy that. It shows she can be firm when necessary, and she can be empathetic. She's FAIR.
She's HUMAN and she's treating people with HUMANITY. We need more judges like her.
I really hope this young lady keeps doing what shes been doing, finishes school, starts college, gets her kids back and stays on the right track. She doesn't seem to be like alot of the other people ive seen in front of Judge Boyd. I believe she really wants to change. Best of luck to her!
Love Judge Boyd. People get a free attorney and think they can continue stalling, changing counsel, and having the taxpayers foot the bill while they waste time. Best of luck to the second woman. She seems like she's on the right path.

Wasn't that a nice little chat between those two. I feel Judge Boyd believes in her as well. She came and presented herself in such a proper and positive manner. Working all her programs proactively to get her children back in her life in a good way and No attitude. I hope she keeps following the light and is a success story.

Fast food is a good job, and there’s a decent chance she’ll be store manager in a couple years if she stays clean and out of trouble. It’ll be a good example for her kids too. Guess maybe the guy wanting a new attorney heard stories of those who’s had 3-4 attorneys he needs to realize this judge doesn’t play that. And he seems to think he knows more law than an actual attorney…because he’s read something. Glad she flat told him….wish some other judges would do that. This attorney seemed fine but guess he couldn’t get the exact answers he was looking for.
Plus, those who claim 3-4 attys could be “exaggerating.”
That last woman is _AMAZING!!_ And everything she said rang with honesty and conviction! All I can say is, good for you! Your children are going to be so proud of you, and you’re going to have so much to teach them! God’s blessings!!

I totally agree with this judge on no boyfriends until all the children are of age. My sister never dated any men until her son was of age. Unfortunately, my sister; his mom died in 2021 from Covid. Test bc she gave all her time with him he just got married in October 12,2023 to a wonderful bride.
When you have a baby they never stop being your child. My daughter is 41 and my son is 38 and they are still my children. They need me and my husband more than ever.
I am so impressed with the way Judge Boyd handles the clients for defense when they want to fire their attorneys. She lets them know that they will have to hire their own lawyer,they realize that free is always better.

I really like Judge Boyd…she is fair, efficient, and organized. She always try to help with rehabilitation or assistance but issues judgement when appropriate.

I'm done with Wendy's since they dc'd vanilla frosty.
I thought it was well known about he chili. A co worker was kind enough to tell me about that while I was eating the chili. He says they also put overcooked meats in there too. From what he told me they reuse any meat that was to be thrown away but still usable, whatever that means. I learned to make my own and haven't had it since.
@@HammerDownGirl Yeah, well their chili is very good. I think that "was to be thrown away" means it was cooked but not sold timely so it wouldn't be fresh enough for a burger. It isn't bad, just not fresh cooked. So for chili it is perfectly fine.
