Great explanation of the right turn at that weird filter light on Fagley road at 8:15. I passed on the 20th of this month with my instructor, but I'd previously failed at this filter light because I'd not seen it before.

Last time my learner went for the test at 11:11 took the route towards idle and then towards the Eccleshill roundabout.But you can do any test route at 11:11. I wish you all the best.
Mid Point is a 30mph road not 10. The 10mph is for Gallagher Car Park only, hence the reason there's no speed signs when Lamin turns left onto Gipsy Street at the start of the video and right at the lights on to Mid Point at the end of the video. The amount of instructors that don't know this is shocking, not least because it's a basic principle of driving, but especially when the info is so easily accessible from the council's highway site.
Thanks for your comment but as soon as you enter from Costa side there is a sign for 10MPH. Which is not the car park and there is no end of 10MPH sign. So I advised my learners not to go at 30 on that road until. Traffic lights. None of the examiners have given a mistake to any of my learners. But thank you for providing us with the value able information. I ll have a discussion about this with the examiner.
@@5DriveSchoolOfMotoring thanks for your reply - here's a quick and easy way you can confirm that the speed around that area is 30mph without having to wait for a conversation with an examiner - drive up to the new houses which are located straight ahead at the roundabout from the dick lane area. Up there you will see a sign post with a 20mph speed limit on. On the rear of that sign, as you leave the new houses is a 30 sign clearly indicating that all roads around the test centre are indeed 30. Whilst I completely understand that driving 10mph around those roads may be deemed the safest choice due to both the amount and type of traffic, my issue here is not to do with the speed choice but more to do with the information being provided by many ADI's to the student being incorrect. As a driving instructor surely all information given to students should be accurate and correct as per DVSA guidelines.
