Nice to see and hear an experienced player grind it out in 1-3 game. All those suck-outs @ The Hustler Casino in L.A. were fun to watch, but I can relate to your BR Challenge a lot more.
I'm not sure Ethan or any of his viewers that are just casual players truly understand just how insanely lucky this guy is, it's beyond anything I've ever seen in 18 years of playing. not knocking the guy, he has huge heart and gamble, but he should be up maybe 1000, 1500 max so far in this challenge, he just wins every single all in, ahead or behind, when the pot is hundreds of BBs .... of course this isn't even mentioning the insane sunrun to ship the 25k high roller, dude did something in a past life that poker Jesus is rewarding him for now
@@bobbycookson4087Yes, I did watch. I know he’s not lying, but the terminology is off lol. The guy’s straight gets cracked by Ethan’s rivered flush. Saying the straight flush draw got cracked doesn’t sound right. A draw by definition isn’t a made hand yet, so wouldn’t get cracked.
Hey man, BIG congrats on your wpt win! I love following you and watching your poker journey. I was wondering if you could do like a poker vlog tutorial. Like how you set your camera up and remember all the hands played and bets made. Thanks for sharing your journey again!
Ethan you are such a good person karma will follow you through life I have followed you through all of your travels this is only the beginning. Happy Holidays
i mean some of the plays are so absurd... callin off 300 bucks KNOWING ya have 1 draw card to make a flush.... a 10 high flush at that... where ya find out so many of your clubs are dead its not even funny.... Who cant make a 5k bankroll when ya put everything in horribly and just draw 3 outters all day.
@@nicklazzaro5055 you're right. This guy pretty much only relies on luck. WSOP bracelet was luck. Poker masters beating out Foxen was also luck. WPT high roller $900k win was also luck. 🙄
@@xiangyuli I was just referring to these bankroll challenge videos. He has gotten his money in bad in big pots like 85% of the time. Hes obviously an incredible player, but if these decisions were at a 5/10 game or deep in one of the tournaments you mentioned, theyd be different plays.
That first hand is why 1/3 can be so frustrating for me. Everyone wants to see a flop and unless you smash it you're in for a bunch of rough decisions. 1/2 is even worse. Wish I had the time and bankroll for 2/5.
@@ahaaha8462 Perhaps but there's always a chance of losing piles and I simply can't afford that. Realism is the thing that most poker players lack, IMO. There WILL be downswings.
Poker is fun when variance is on your side! Nice run though I don’t think this is typical 1/3 hourly. Coming out on top of every big pot whether your in good or terrible is always a plus.
It's amazing how much you play for these days. The fact you're holding your own against the best 👌 👍 brilliant 👏. One tournament win could be lucky but you have won a few now 😉 best of luck for the future. Love watching couldn't have happened to a better person. Always great content 👌 👏 love you style of playing. You have improved beyond imagination. 👏 now you won 900k I am looking forward to the next big win millions I hope so.
Taking down the $25k high roller event must’ve felt amazing. Great score and you’ve been running so good in tournaments since WSOP! Did you sell any action?
"It brings in a backdoor flush draw." -- If there are six cards, I guess? Longest session - 3 hrs? Maybe that is my problem...I need to stop playing these 22h marathon sessions :D
Better be lucky than good. That first hand you had less than 5% chances of winning with six clubs already in play on the flop and villain holding nut straight on the turn.
Between your last session and this first hand I've seen here, there are 2 major mistakes that you shouldn't be making! Last session was the 98 of diamonds hand on the 8c6s4s and a player donk leads into you. Why would you ever raise here?? The hands a player is most likely to lead there are A8, 2 pair hands, maybe sets and straights that don't like the draws available. You don't really have any good back-door draws either. You raised and got 3 bet and had to fold. The other is the first hand here. With 109 clubs on a 10 4 3, 2- club board, why check?!?!? You have a good hand and a draw, but you're far from having a lock on the hand; and you have multiple opponents (I believe). What are you going to do if a non-club A, K, Q or J comes? Or another 3 or 4? It worked out this time, but you were in terrible shape when the money went in!.At best you had a 15% chance there.
I’m not a hater at all - I have watched your content for a few years now and do wonder when this heater ends, as you are binking in big pots way more than expected. Be it 1-3 or 25k HR
Why are your comments so wrong? It's no the first time I hear this. You mention the wrong cards, the wrong draws and sometimes you mention draws when there are no draws???
I hope this challenge continues in the 2/5 streets
