I feel like if the show would make a little more sense if the Shatterspaces would be actually a part of a timeline where Sonic didn’t exist. Blue/No Place: pirates found the land that became Green Hills Green/Boscage Maze: scavengers live there mostly peaceful lives Red/New Yoke: Dr. Robotnik comes along and destroy it the land for his dream city Purple/The Grim: after the city was hopelessly abandoned and became a desert wasteland As For Yellow/Ghost Hill, It would remain as what is left of the timeline Sonic knows.
