    Which oil did you use?

    Thanks for the video. Just a reminder to people: Start the engine and let it run for a minute or so before you make your final dipstick check. Oil will circulate through the filter leaving you room to add a little more.

    I always recommend buying the Quarts instead of the jug since you only need 4 Quarts so you will have an extra one to save and you don't have to worry about putting too much oil in, which could lead to blown seals

    I put a Fomoto valve in place of the plug that I bought from Amazon with a 12" section of vinyl tube and sawed a 3" hole in the under pan. Now I can roll it up on the ramps , crawl under and release the valve without taking the under pan off (that's the hard part). I change oil at 5k miles and the filter every third change, when I must take the under pan off. Got 180k miles on a '08 Fit and it uses about 1/2 of a cup of oil between changes.

      I have one, they're really good right now. I've been 155k and run like new, I recommend... I even had an accident and I fixed it and it's still running good. Good cars. No trouble at all. Greetings from Puerto Rico.

      No need to change it only change it if it’s broken or if you see oil coming from the plug

    Dude, why does that look like transmission fluid and not engine oil? It is red and looked a lot more watery than oil.

    • @murkeyvlogs3212
      @murkeyvlogs3212 Рік тому

      Trust me it’s not trans fluid . It’s engine oil just looks like that because of the lighting .
