Wow old video you said you don’t think you would paint as a career and now you doing it and doing it good 👍🏽
Been watching and following you for years...this is awesome, classic ....you're the best...thank you for sharing a wealth of knowledge to those of us who are DIY...may you be blessed..
Man, look how far you have come. You deserve all the success. Thanks for all the videos.
I’m sure this video just brought a lot of great tips to people painting at home, controlling your environment is one of the biggest hurdles of painting at home, because there is so many things involved, from dust control to airflow, to bugs , etc. I am all self taught , and have been painting for several years, although I don’t consider myself a beginner I will say I am always ambitiously perfecting my craft learning on each paintjob whether it’s what I did right or what I did wrong. Garage painting is an art of its own , it presents challenges one must overcome , and allows the painters imagination to come up with creative solutions. We are our own worst critic, and I think it’s the pursuit of perfection in an imperfect world or scenario that gets us addicted to painting.
Videos like this are life. We all have dreams and aspirations and some of us are older and striving towards them regardless of challenges and oppositions and to see this is awesome.
Is amazing to see how far you’ve come Brian. I started painting back in the 70’s enamel and acrylic lacquer which I knew how to use but then came all the bc cc and you have been the best teacher I could have asked for thanks for all you do for the painting business!
Cool. I made a temporary paint booth just like that when I painted my Mustang. I even used a zipper door and fan/filter setup like that. Got great results.
What a GEMSTONE, your experience as a teacher has prepared you to educate us in painting
As many out there, I would have guessed you are a full time professional and have mastered painting with a course or something, so I can only say wow, amazing! I also took up some painting jobs as well because of your vids and bought an IWATA to try for the future so I am really glad there is a beginning for everything! Many thanks Brian.
Not sure how old this video is, but after watching your current videos, it's obvious how far you've come in your video production. You've inspired me to tackle a couple of jobs that I've been debating taking to someone else. Thanks for all of your detailed info
Wow! What a throw back!
Must feel so good to look back at this video and actually feel how far you've come!
OMG old school! Love your passion and I’m glad you have been rewarded for it through your Chanel’s popularity. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Appreciate your hard work!!
So you are a teacher that paints on the side. I think you are a pro at both: painter & teacher. Thanks Brian, your booth shows some critical aspects that ALL BOOTHS need to have. Amazing inspiration!
I was confused at first, kept checking the channel 😄 I'm inspired! You're an excellent teacher, and look at you now!
Congrats on the new baby I enjoy your videos. I hope you are able to enjoy time with your family. Keep up the good work.
Brian, you are my hero👊🏾 this is amazing! Thanks for keeping it real and showing us that we can paint anything with a bit of effort.
I always wondered why you say don't overthink it... It's just paint. Now I know. 👍🏾
That's a man dedicated to his work and it's paid off. Great work and you continue to do great work. Thanks for the videos and tips and tutorials. Appreciate it.
Okay, love the flashback, but it’s right on time, I needed that info.
That was dedication to a hobby. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Got to paint my truck this year...I gotta. I gotta ..I gotta.
That's awesome. Now I know why you show so much enthusiasm teaching on this channel.
I like the way you you have setup your tools in your garage.
Wow so happy to see where your roots come from!!
Excellent booth...gives me lots of ideas for building mine... good idea on the filter holders, & that's called corner bead...🖖🏿😎👍🏿
Well done Brian for posting this vid I’m sure this vid helped a lot of people out.
You turned your hobby into a professional painter , love the bit in this when you say don’t think you could do this as a career lol 😂
Wow the date on the video through me off for a minute.
Loved it!!!!
Look at this youngster!!! “State of the art paint booth” so proud of yourself, as you should be! 💯
even after 2 years i still need this vid. going to paint my car in 3 weeks if i make it.
if not ill start after 3 months. im trying to repair the broke panels but it's taking longer then expected
Man you’ve been doing videos for a minute, I was like who’s that guy? Ohh that’s young. Brian.
I am really impressed with your ability to put together monologues off the cuff with no ummm’s or uhhh’s . There aren’t make folks able to narrate like you can. Great work Bryan.
Respect to you for sharing this knowledge with others! Your channel is great! Very informative 🙌🏻
One from the archive!
Wow Brian that’s awesome man wry cool to see this video! So much you’ve learned and made time to show and teach us your tricks. Thanks bro!
It's really nice to see the start of a great channel that is now helping me to be the best spray painter I can. Wonder when the phrase " don't over think it, it's just paint " came along 😀
I just knew that you are a teacher. You are very good at it.
Brian these are the types of videos we need as most of us watching DO NOT have a paint booth :). This is pretty slick. Thanks for the info.
I love all your videos. They help me alot . Thanks much for everything you teach us. You got way more students than you think 😁 blessings 🙏🙏
One of the best channels .
Thanks for the video! You make these information videos perfectly! Dont stop!
Awesome video I have been following your channel for awhile now and would not have guessed you were self tought
No wonder I couldn't change image quality.
Keep up the great informative work!
That’s awesome! All you need is 4 intake filters to match the output vacuum and the walls should stop sucking in. You can get the sticky ones from booth filter people.
You have come along ways -- great video - congrats on your journey!
This is awesome to watch
Cheers brother, I love this video. It shows all of us how we can get to you're elite level.
A possible helping solution for your wall panels is one I came up with for my car port tent that would flap incessantly in the wind, ultimately ripping itself apart. This solution solved that problem and the new tent lasted over a year here in Southern Arizona.
Using para cord - you go around the perimeter of the booth at least two levels (divided in thirds will give two wraps of para cord.) you do this inside and outside at the same level as the other - this will sandwich the plastic sheet in between the para cord. Tie one end of the para cord and stretch it as tight as possible, then tie it off at the other end.
The more rows of para cord the less flapping and moving.
Thank you! I'm finally at the point in my table saw restoration where I'm planning for painting the base and other parts. Been stressing it NGL. Haven't ever painted with anything but a brush or aerosol can, like ever.
Loved your ingenuity on this one 😀
Great video i learn so much from these videos, keep up the great work
Love to see how people get started on you tube. Great stuff!
A teacher through and through homie.
Great booth and great air flow. Your walk around cracked me up. It was like a sales pitch for the booth on shark tanks.. LOL great job.
Nice video, really great information specially on how to set a home spraybooth, where to put the filters and extraction fans. Thank you
Muy bien Bro saludos desde Honduras🇭🇳 excelente flashback😎
Brilliant video Brian very helpful 👍
Congrats on the success brother looks like you’ve come a long way 👍 keep grinding.
The "throwback jamz" right here
At the end "I got a few more jobs lined up" ohhhhhh future Brian, if you only knew.
I absolutely love this!
What did I just see?? I'm in a time warp. Keep the vids coming.
Great info! Now I know what I plan to do!
I’ve been binge watching your newer videos and man it just gave me chills to see how far you’ve come. So inspiring! Trying to figure out how to spray my furniture in the winter out of a 10x12 shed lol
when you said “I’m a school teacher” … “I don’t think I could do this as a career”. Lol
Great video. Follow your passion.

Sweet edit bro! Dig it!
I'm glad you became a full time spray painter. It's a much more honourable job than being an Indoctrinator of children.
MAN YOU CAME LONG WAY! way to go I need to start video taping my projects and teach this younger generation!
Can’t thank you enough for the motivation and knowledge id never thought I’d be painting my sons first car with him getting ready to sell it for good money being it’s a classic muscle car
Thanks for the info, love the content.👍🏽
My clear coat is soft after 12 hours of dry time lol. Good thing it's a pickup box trailer. Good videos thanks for all the tips. God bless
Well done! And funny
You really prepared your channel for your paternity leave :D
wow how young you looked then, glad to see you've learnt to take a breath these days.
❤yeah! I watch your newest vids as i found the page a few months ago...could've fooled Me,I always thought You were a painter by trade❤
I gave you a thumbs up, I hope that's "Okay"👍
Very interesting - thank you.
LOL - I thought one of your peeps sent this to you, then realized who is in the video. 😂
You can stop the booth from sucking in by putting a inlet fan blowing in through that other filter and when you see the plastic pushing out that is a positive pressure. You may need to reduce from 4 to 2 extraction fans. Great video thanks.
Thank you...great video
Gotta think with your mind!
A young "Acura Painter" in the wild!
@@PaintSociety ima take a shot every time you say Okay okay?!? Wish me luck lol
Yo to hear you say your a PE teacher and you don’t picture yourself painting etc for career in the future and to see you now basically running your own busines, brand and social platform etc it’s kinda funny how me say things like that but than destiny kinda takes its own course. This was so Inspiring to see. I’m 32 and been been working with paint for 15+ years first started as a graffiti artist (don’t judge me I was young lol), than I started doing custom airbrush, worked for few years in a buddies collision repair shop, opened my own performance shop with a best friend and now I’m going to start incorporating my knowledge from collision to start custom body and paint at the shop. Great work man love your content. Keep up the great work man I’ve learned so much from your tips
Thank you so much funny thing is I’m still 15 year, veteran, PE teacher, and painting at night. It all worked out.
You was soo young , I couldn't recognize you till the end of the video 😅👍👍👍,you are the best ❤
This is where a legend was born...
You look very young here must be one of your 1st videos 👍🏼 keep up the great hobby 👍🏼😎
Hey Brian, I almost did not recognize you in this video at all. I was thinking who is this guy. I just clicked the video and started watching it without reading who posted it. Lol. Good throw back video👏
Come a long ways lol . Congrats
Taste of reinforcements like some aluminum pipes by the zipper door that'll give it the support that it needs and it won't give it that sucking your power I've been in my garage beautiful setup 👍💯
Throwback
You are the G in the paint world mate I have my own body shop and everytime I have a problems straight on here to see if you have done a video about it and you always do 👊off to buy new guns tomorrow give me best options?
🤯 I always thought you was a full time painter!!
Man. I said “okay” a lot.
I need an official count of how many times 🤦
@@mattshirey1347 at least 65
