I have a question about the length of jacket sleeves. I can't afford a custom made suite, so whenever I purchase a jacket the sleeves are usually too long. I'm a 44S but my arms are shorter than the normal. I would be happy for a guide to the length of my sleeves so when I go to a tailor or someone else to do alterations I can let them know what length they should be.
I went to my nieces wedding several years ago. It was in a different state from where I live and about a two hour drive. When I started to get dressed I realized I left my pocket square home. When I got to the affair I found a lovely white napkin that I was able to fold into a presidential. Funny thing is I got loads of compliments on that napkin pocket square n
I love this information so much! But, _square inches_ is not the same as _inches, square._ The terms are not interchangeable. _Square inches_ is a measurement of area. An item that is 16 square inches would be 4"x4", or 2"x8" or even 1"x16". Any pair of factors that multiply to 16. An item that is 16 _inches, square_ would be 16" on a side, and being designated _square,_ it is a square that is 16" on each side.
I once bought two silk Ralph Lauren pocket squares and I wasted them because of the dry cleaning costs and I eventually de-cluttered and they went to the Salvation Army.
Great video mostly - however please don’t do the 3D rotation of stock images (like in the beginning of the history section) anymore. The way it’s done is quite nauseating on a bigger monitor.
It should also be mentioned that if you're having a bit of trouble keeping the pocket square in the right area of your pocket, I strongly suggest that you buy a pocket square holder, it keeps it at the right height and positioning throughout the day.
I don’t know what it is with gentlemen of a very specific demographic wearing pocket squares that look like beach towels falling out of their pockets these-days, the same people almost always wear skin tight trousers and monk straps which went out of style in mid-2010s, as well as constantly over-accessorising. You can see this with American football players
30 minutes on white pocket squares, that's just not enough information. Could you guys start doing deep dives on the subjects. Maybe a 14 hour Ken Burns style documentary on red suspenders. Joking, 30 minutes is just right for the topic.
It may seem that way. Regardless, you can wear a suit in a more casual fashion that either works or appeal to you in a less business fashion. Follow your own style though regardless of what other people is doing or not doing. Be original. When many choose to not put much effort into how they dress, you’ll certainly stand out even wearing a suit or without without a tie for less formality. Step down even more with a nice jacket, shirt and dress trousers or chinos. Rock your own style man whichever you like.

Literally, couldn't have, yet.
I tried.

The thoroughness of Preston's presentations is incomparable! He is a gem.
Preston's great quality and style again

100% agree. His corny, tongue-in-cheek jokes improve his videos.
Preston is pure gentleman gold! I love this man with a passion!
It's the ultimate, if not the only, quintessential accessory for being well dressed.
This video is so far and above the "White T-Shirt" video as to make me question that they came from the same channel. Well done Preston!
Love this video, I am a scarf freak myself, I could really relate to the flourishing language, and creative displays and collections
Just use the Are You Being Served system, as demonstrated by Captain Peacock and Mr Tebbs. Works pretty well.
A quality video by Preston, again. By the way, I love your tie.
Thanks from Brazil!

Tuned in thinking, white pocket square? Pffft, this will be a quick scan. Twenty-seven minutes later….wow, that was super interesting.

I loved! I have a suggestion, what would the gentleman who owns motorcycles look like? or would that not be "gentleman"?
Could your team create a presentation of various American 1870 and 1880 suits. I greatly enjoy your program and thank you to all.
With the monogrammed corners, since you only put one letter there, which name should it represent: the first or last?
The last name is most traditional with just one initial, but you can do whatever you'd prefer. Thanks for watching!

The modern reenactment 😂
Very good video. However, you seem to be confusing square inches and inches squared. 16 square inches would be a tiny pocket square.
