According to Sports Illustrated insider Albert Breer, the Raiders could be operating under a directive from the top to take a quarterback in the draft.
“I’ve heard the football people there could be under a mandate to draft a quarterback in April,” Breer reported on Tuesday. “And if that’s the plan, whoever the head coach is will have a pretty big impact on who that quarterback is, and how he develops early in his career. The first season for Antonio Pierce as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders has gone the complete opposite of how he wanted. Drama and turmoil surrounded the early part of the season, and the Raiders have now lost eight consecutive games and are currently tied for the second-worst record in the NFL at 2-10.
The franchise has already moved on from offensive coordinator Luke Getsy along with two other offensive coaches, and while the Raiders have looked a bit better, it hasn’t resulted in wins. All of this has led some to wonder whether Pierce’s job could be in jeopardy after just one season, and from the sounds of things, it could very well be.

I'm gonna keep it 100 with ya'll. I never shared this because people gonna be quick to talk mess. I drive Uber in So Cal. I picked up a kid about 18 and when they saw my Raiders stickers one of them started laughin saying my homie right here (one of the kids in the car) is AP's nephew. I laughed to and was thinking these fools are trippen. I looked at the drop off destination as we were riding and saw Compton as the destination. I started to believe them then he busted out his phone and showed me pictures of the party I picked them up at and AP was there. The drive was 45 minutes with traffic and they broke it down. They told me that AP and Mark made a plan to tank and it was Mark's idea. He said AP told Mark "the nation will turn on me for this b3cause they're very passionate" but Mark said I'm giving you 2 years. He said I'm keeping you a second year. 😮 They planned to tank from the get go fellas.

I looked at the Anti-tampering policy, and it doesn't say anything about draftable college students. The wording for college students was speaking to underclassmen that are not eligible for the draft, as well as petitioning or advocating for underclassmen to be drafted. It seems like college athletes who have declared for the draft are fair game. If anyone else can dispute this, please do. I know the NFL doesn't always put their rules in the same place, at least online.

why is no one considering this everyone keeps talking about Deion to be raiders next HC obviously Deion doesn't need the money so if they draft his son's it makes more since to me if the raiders were to bring in Deion as DB coach he would be there to help the raiders in his area of expertise and be able to be close to his son's and not have to deal with the BS that comes with being a NFL HC

aint that where the best/better overall talent play? if so it could have turned out 50/50, better o line equals better protection equals more completions, yards, tds, less or more pix kuz of defenses? who knows how he would have faired tho?
I’m not.., same thing happened last year w/Jayden Daniels and he went to Washington. The league won’t allow us to get Sanders so just draft the best QB available
@@no-capcounselors i think and thought of to, but u have remember raiders (davis) might be going against his fathers ways and is slowly selling out and the league is going to start allowing certain things for us, the golden boy owns 10% and why wouldnt goodell dick suck his knees away for brady and raiders now? sanders, brady and next year if ap kant improve then prime comes to town and all that will generate the league and davis even more funds which the nfl is all about, no?
If he had to play the Ducks and Ward again the season he would have two more losses. His "Big numbers " are all YAC from his fast WR's running screens .What better team to trick into over drafting a player. That's what all this is about.
Cause ap sucks and you can hire a good coach and keep him for years instead of the worst head coach in sports
