    Folks told me the same thing about episodes 3/4. I didn't really take it as "they knew" what was going to happen...I took I as a possible prediction from what others "think". Everyone has their own opinions, I wait until I see it for myself to have a "solid" opinion
    Ya....I was waiting for the backstab also! The "witch" making of the twins didn't bother me as much as the lame droids! Lol
    It would've been good to know how everyone died! Not showing it leaves doors open. Did Mae kill them? Did the Jedis kill them, or did they kill each other?
    To me, Star Wars will always be Star Wars. Just watch the original cuts🎬

    the episode didn’t break any lore or introduce any new lore that hasn’t been done before in other Star Wars properties. the coven of witches is basically a similar group as the Night Sisters of Dathomir. both groups of cults of female force users who have their own interpretation and manifestation of the force. this is nothing new to Star Wars lore. as far as Osha and Mae being somehow conceived through the force, they left that part open ended and I am actually interested in seeing how they explain that.
    showing the Jedi as suspect from this groups point of view also makes sense to me, and is a theme that has been present since the prequels and clone wars.
    this is definitely not great television (it’s certainly no Andor), but I love this universe and am always interested in expansions to the galaxy far far away. I am, however, objective enough to see that this production, writing, and execution quality could be way better.

      Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my video. I do truly appreciate that and I appreciate you doing it and an intelligent manner, and the only thing else I can say is that I basically 100% agree with you please subscribe to the channel. It’s very refreshing to have a comment that’s from someone who I don’t already know in the community and for it to be articulated in such an intelligent and respectful manner, may the force be with you!!!

    5:00 i have to disagree with this take. Just because the amazing actors who set high bars are gone does not mean you look for the best of the shit. Doing so lowers the standard and continues to lower the standard over time. Find the great ones.
    What's also very important is the director running the scene. Without proper guidance of the vision, not even the best would look any good.

    • @laksivrak2203
      @laksivrak2203 4 місяці тому

      I agree with you on the statement you made about directors and maybe there is as much blame on the directors as the actors and I will agree with you on that. There still are a few good actors out there my favorite modern actor being Tom Hardy but as someone who is raised on the magnificent films of the 1940s, 50s and 60s it’s really hard for me to get into a lot of these newer films where it seems across-the-board whether it be production or scenery or wardrobe. There’s too many misses for it to be a believable or enjoyable film, I really appreciate your comment. Thank you for watching and please come back and see me anytime.

      I was anticipating much more so I stayed awake 😂 it wasn’t ground breaking, I’m not sure if these “night sisters” are the same as we have seen in the clone wars because the clone wars night sisters are definitely the same species, while this clan is made up of many different species. But this group is definitely some sort of witch cult who follows the force

    First of all Lak great show secondly I agree and disagree yes I agree this episode was filler do I think it was bad not really it gives us some backstory on May and OSHA end the reasoning why may wants to kill the four Jedi the designs of the characters especially The wookie was horrible I didn't see any wokeism any more than you did is it an episode that I would like to go back to only if I want to get a backstory to met and OSHA however once again great show

    Why would you want to see an unmasked Jawa - jesus no stone gets left unturned when it comes to not leaving anything to the imagination.

    • @laksivrak2203
      @laksivrak2203 4 місяці тому +1

      We’ve seen unmasked jaws in the comics and the old expanded universe, so it’s not a new thing at least not to people who been fans of Star Wars since the beginning and people who read the comics in the books so if you were just ignorant to the fact that Star Wars back in the George Lucas days had already exposed what jaw was looked like under their hood then this must be a shock for you But those of us have been fans since the original release in 1977. It was just cool to see it. Live action on screen and not just in a graphic novel or comic book but thanks for the comment. It really really helps the algorithm and it helps the channel immensely stay loose baby.

      @@laksivrak2203 I was there from the beginning in 1977 thankyou very much and the OT was my life when I was young. I just never got that involved with endless spin off books, comics, CGI cartoons ect that came later in the 90s onwards after the OT finished - in the old days there was only the marvel comics that I read to expand the universe . Have seen all the movies & some of the TV series, but all the endless books & comics that came later I didn't have time to spare for.

    • @laksivrak2203
      @laksivrak2203 4 місяці тому

      @Paul_1971 so why are you getting involved now in the 2020s? also Star Wars has ruined stuff as far as our imagination when they gave us the backstory of Darth Vader and the prequels, and they changed who Boba Fett was, seeing a Jawa unmasked is a very small revele compared to those other characters back story being fleshed out if you’ve been there since 77 then I imagine that you’re used to disappointment because as I stated in my review, the first ruining of Star Wars was George Lucas‘s special edition and then you had them might as well been made by Disney kid films as the of the prequels the comic books and the graphic novels and the expanded universe in the 90s were the only things keeping Star Wars on a serious note as they were slightly in the original trilogy. I highly recommend that you go back and read shadows of the Empire and the dark expanded universe comics from the 90s as somebody who’s a true 77 fan will probably enjoy them much more than any of the modern Disney tat.
