Great job assembling this detailed Lego Boba Fett/Jabba Palace. Jabba would be proud. ;) Cool that you were able to fit Jabba in there after a small adjustment to the seating area.

I bought this newer set and gotta say, I quite like it, the building isn't the greatest tho
They need to step up their game, even if it means less figures, I’ve had to modify more and more structures so they are sturdy, and I don’t even like play with them as toys just as models.
And for kids who might get rougher than a collector, it should have more stability.
I'm in the process of taking so many sets laying around apart just for space and to clean things up after watching this video it stopped me from taking this one apart as I have the mos eisley and it just fits with that and the smaller obi wans hut
I saw this set yesterday at target it was out of my budget at the time , maybe one day tho because that set looks so awesome! Definitely looks worth it

honestly i can see them added a wider rancor pit with maybe 2 rooms because the throne slides out weirdly and not plug in at all, maybe the new rancor set could slide into the throne seting area, and maybe that set will also come with a build for a roof/ bacta tank, maybe those 2 combine to form a small building, but by buying this first throne room, u complete the full thing
So I think I found a high in idea, instead of buying jabbas palace and the rancor pit you can just buy bobas and the sail barge get Janna and mod bobas palace, plus you get slave Leigh and a bunch of other figs
This set could have been 2 in 1 where you could swap Jabba with bib’s throne and a rechargeable headpiece for bib fortuna
Its good to know Jabba will fit lol now I just need to order a Jabba

i never knew if my old Jabbas roof would fit or not
Once I get this set I’m going to get some parts online to make a roof and a taller tower and add some mini figs from the old set : jabba , crumb , Han in carbonate and Leia ✨
I got this set only for the past Christmas (December 2022) when I was barely returning to LEGO SW after so MUCH time... I like it and I got it a sale (just because it didnt sell that well at the retails here so I got it for like $70 euro brand new). The only thing I was missing was Jabba, but despite superior cause of the roofing and tower, the 2012 palace was way more expensive (understandable) on ebay... Besides I liked the features of this set and the minifigures more. The only thing to me, as heretic as it may sound, which was missing, was not the roofing (as it could be modded) but the Jabba big fig. So what I did was I went and got a Jabba 2012 minifig (2nd hand off of ebay) in order to do EXACTLY what you showed in here... As Im still waiting for the Jabba fig to arrive, I was afraid he wouldn't be able to fit, until I saw this which removed my suspicions. Thank you and I'm glad someone did exactly what I wanted to do and confirmed it could be done without much hassle. Subscribed!

Only one question: Jabba is locked on the studs or is simply put on it?
Yeah as I mentioned I just placed him on the throne because I think adding anything to secure him would probably make him too tall to fit in the alcove

I’m not sure if this is true but I heard somewhere that they decided not to include the dome of the palace after the Hagia Sofia controversy from years back
Did anyone else think that Jabba’s Palace was too bright/well lit in Book of Boba
Maybe a little, but I did like being able to actually see the details.
I guess that does fit with Boba wanting to be seen as a fair ruler as opposed to an intimidating tyrant like Jabba.

Tbh, I doubt it'll get an expansion. I remember the Obi Wan hut set had a connector and doorway which seemed perfect for an expansion but nothing ever came out
It makes it a little tricky to review this set because without something on the top it just looks unfinished IMO. If we don’t get anything, I guess I’ll have to try and make a roof for it myself.

Only thing in this set I care for is the Gamorrean and the Quarren.
I think the reason there is no roof is because of the last one's controversy with a turkish mosque.
I still feel like if that were the case they would have chosen a different design, and there would have been no need to have those connectors on the roof
I don’t know if we’ll see the top of Jabba’s palace again, not after the bad publicity that set got a few years ago.
Considering the lengths LEGO went to not let the supposed controversy affect the original set, I don’t buy the idea that they intentionally made this set worse just to avoid controversy. But who knows? It’s been 10 years and many things have changed since then
