I really like that you draped after the form was made! There are many videos showing how to make a form and they never show the product from the made form! I cant wait to see an updates form! I love making skirts for my dolls! At least you were able to use the 'dress' still❤️

Thank you so much!! I really wanted to show how I put it to use even if it wasn’t my best work! I will say, I have an upcoming cosplay video for one of my girls where I drape more with it! I can’t wait to share it with y’all!

Using the other half to make a silicone cast could be pretty cool, especially if you ever want to get creative with latex doll clothes for superhero costumes! Thank you for sharing, you definitely got a new sub out of this. Have you thought about collabing with Diana, the Doll Fairy? She would lose her mind at seeing this!

Thats an epic idea!! I definitely had a feeling someone would think of something awesome!! I love Diana the doll Fairy!! It’d be a dream to collab with her!! She’s amazing!! I’m still a small youtuber so I have no idea if she’d be up for it 😭

I watched this like this o_0 .. then watched it again at 1/4 speed... still o_0 .. You make everything look so easy.. meh. I think your sewing skillz also far exceed mine. (Tho I fear messing up, big time.) I taped a couple of different dolls oo maybe a year ago. Every now and again I'll pick them up and wonder if I can just tape it back together and stuff it. Ponder if I can do some sort of paper mache using fabric & glue. Today I'm pondering if I can heat craft foam and mold a dress form. Yet here I am, watching you artfully create. Great video!
I'll prolly just put them away again lol.

It honestly took me way more work than I show! The dressform was in development for months and took me an entire month to start and finish the actual dress-form ! So don’t be discouraged, it’s not magically easy for me! I just show the parts that are most important! It’s tough work but I promise it gets easier! Also that initial fear of messing up is natural and fades away with each project! Don’t stop! Whatever you wanna try, do it! Even if it doesn’t work, it’ll teach you something! Or let you know what not do to/ what you DO need to do! It’s a cycle of trial and error! Don’t fear it, or you’ll be stuck! I believe in you! Try the craft foam method! It sounds amazing!! I’d love to hear how it goes!! Please try it! Don’t put them away! 💕💕

Awesome thanks for the heads up! I recently learned that Home Depot sells many art supplies for very low. I may be overdue for a trip!

ooo this excites me. great video!!! i can't wait to get my smart doll, i saw a custom clothes making video and it just looked so *easy* so i've fully turned around now lol. i prefer tinies usually (so small and cute!) so this is a huge change for me.
with my previous tapecasts i've never made a fabric version as a master form! that's so creative, looking forwards to watching more of your videos :3

I think Lowes is a bit cheaper but I like home depot btw they will cut it for u.. after several attempts i got a pattern I liked got it sewn up and stuffed then i realized she had gained weight lol. I have the same problem. almost 1//2" darn. I even basted it first and tried it on her, back to drawing board. I also found some small wood candle holders for little candles in my stuff i am going to use them attached to a wood base I got them Michaels L think

Thank you I’ll definitely have to check them out! Yea it’s hard to determine how the fabric will expand. Need to try making a new one in all honesty! I might experiment with grainline placement and interfacing pieces a few times !

You should look into quarter inch painters tape - then you don't have to cut it to size :)

Thank you so much. Do you have a recommendation on how to add legs to the dress form to draft pants from it?

Glad to help! It’s definitely possible it’s just up to you on how you go about piecing it. Whatever you feel is easiest should work!
