Other games: sequence breaks happen because of developer oversights allowing you to reach areas early unintended, or are simply much harder of done out of order. Skyward sword: has sequence breaks because the player can simply bend reality to their will in a display of arcane wizardry beyond the comprehension of mere mortals
Would fans of Skyward Sword speedruns be called demigods since they understand how the game breaks but probably can not execute the glitches themselves?
@@iantaakalla8180 That's funny you say this because it's actually easier to be the opposite: you can learn how to speedrun skyward sword without understanding the glitches by following a route exactly, a few people have done that before.
"The files formerly known as 2 and 3" LMAO Really cool run all the way through, at first I wasn't a fan of the constant interruptions for BiT stuff but it definitely grew on me over the course of the run.
I used to like watching gdq. But with it keep being off site… its just not the same for me. Like if there are people i like to watch already, I’ll watch them. But usually will not bother to look at anything else. Its just not the same, the actual couch, the tech crew, and the crowd. Stuff just isn’t the same.
Agreed, you used to be able to watch any gdq run, no matter the game, and be glued to the screen until the end. Without the crowd and in person couch (by that I mean the banter that usually occurs), only the speed runs you are specifically interested in feel entertaining
@@christophsiebert1213 old gdq ss run that Gym did around the time Untitled Goose Game was popular. The donation incentive for the name ended up being honk! and the crowd honked every time the name was on screen, which many people found annoying
wasn't counting on going to bed this instant, but now... now things have changed.
Yearly tradition of Gym playing the broken motion game

I like the idea of me not being a mere mortal anymore, since I understand all of technical stuff going on there :)

Everytime I've seen that stalmaster in the cistern it baffles me how fast it dies

When you eventually take part in a Skyward Sword TAS... The song of time needs to be played every time you guys use the Back In Time glitch.

Honk!
I'm a bit out of touch. What is the honking?
