Maybe it's to prevent copying the audio at higher sampling... radio quality was good enough for us to make a educated music purchase on AM & FM for decades.
Nice arrangement. I've loved Spence's playing for over 30 years, although no-one gets the unique tone that he had - partly perhaps due to his ever-so-slightly out-of-tune guitar. Glad to see you didn't attempt the vocals!
I like it... That's where the body of country music should be right now;however, they're playing old rock riffs and muddying the waters too much with bubblegum pop meets Metallica.
+Kirk McAlpin Please explain how this is an abomination? being a bahamian and having listened to his playing quite alot. I would say that this gent did a solid job. He doesnt play exactly the way JS played... but who in the world does???
Bruce, I am now a fan of yours and of Joseph Spence. I hear a little bit of Rev. Gary Davis in there. Cheers!
Can taste the calypso flavour in his playing!
Superb!!!
Good piece, great playing.
Now on Acoustic Links (FB)
