I personally found the precursors and pieces of Eden more interesting when we knew less about them. I believe as they added more and more lore, it started to show the cracks in their writing.
What I speculate on what actually happened was that there was too much of a shift from the original Assassin games due to a change of writing/devs. I think the OG Isu were supposed to be straight up Anunaki aliens instead of these cheap knock of pantheon mythology demi gods.
@@scienceuser99 the way i interpreted it, them being shown in gods/demigods in things like Valhalla or Odyssye is only because these visions (wether they be a simulation or drug enhanced dream) were influenced by the cultural viewpoints kf the people who saw them. Eivor knew very little of the Isu, what little she did know prior to accepting Odin and having him explain to her what really happened, had know way of knowing that her visions were not a true reflection of what really happened, only a mythological version of it. And in Kassandra’s case, although she did have more experience with Isu more than Eivor did, all she had were her own mythological viewpoints, and ruins. Ruins which aren’t likely to be exact the same as they were 75,000 years ago. It’s not like ruined buildings today are the same as they were when they were first built. Take the pyramids for example. Today there slightly damaged and rocky. But back when they were first built there surface was smooth and had a golden top, just like we saw in Bayeks time. Or the temple of Zeus in Olympia. The ruins there now are nearly unrecognisable from what it was originally like when they were first built. The same could be said for the Isu ruins we’ve encountered, degrading over time to the point they look very different from how they would’ve originally looked back in the ice age. We saw back in Revelafions that the Isu were advanced enough that they built skyscrapers similar to ours. But the simulations we see in Odyssey don’t have any. Why is that. Because Kassandra didn’t have a wide enough frame of reference to picture buildings like that. So when Aleuthia created the simulations of Elysium, Hades, and Atlantis, she just used a combination of what was actually the case (seeing as atlantis has the same layout as what was described in the supposed egyptian texts that originally described atlantis), plus the ruins that Kassandra encountered when fighting the Olympos Project monsters, and architecture from buildings she saw in her everyday life. So if Aleutheia did the same thing to someone in our time, i gotta feeling she’d actually show what it really looked like, because a person in our time is more likely to understand what things were like back then properly thanks to our advancements in our understanding if the world, compared to someone who lived 2500 years ago who believed that the world is run by a bunch of horny gods who occasionally practise casual incest
I want the Assassin's Creed franchise to use Roman dodecahedrons as pieces of eden. Since they are mysterious ancient objects we don't know a lot about, it would be easy to build a plot around them, and funny to see them IRL in museums
It is so relatable to apple from the Eden.. we ate, we rebelled! god kept sending prophets for us to come back to god, as we see is done through religions.
I really enjoy these lore videos you’ve been making lately. Can you do a video on the other pieces of Eden? And maybe a pacifist video on AC 3. I think you can beat that game with just just your fists. Lol
I've been with the series since 07 sorta fell off knowing every last detail after origins and the one thing that has always been hard is knowing how many pieces of eden there are and what they all do and where they are so please make the vid about all of them
I actually know an Assassin’s Creed fanfic called Assassin’s Creed: Outlaw (set in the Wild West) that centers around a piece of Eden called the Last Feather of Quetzocoatl which is a key that can be used to lock people from using pieces of Eden.

I'm very interested in ISU history. How did they come to be? Where they created or did they evolve? How are some like Poseidon still alive in ac Odyssey? Are the monsters in Odyssey (Such as the cyclopses, medusa and minotaur) ISU as well? Or are they humans who were overwhelmed by the artifacts and transformed into monsters? How is Juno alone still in existence and not Minerva and Jupiter, or any other ISU for that matter? Did they ever think of leaving earth? I've got soooo many questions for the series. I hope we get more info in the upcoming games. Hopefully the series doesn't turn into an ONLINE ONLY MULTIPLAYER EXPERIENCE!!!!! WITH SEASONAL PURCHASABLE STORY PACKS!!!
Hello everyone! I've recently been playing the Ezio Trilogy once again and there's a question related to the topic of the video that maybe someone could answer. The Apple of Ede found in Altair's library at the end of Assassin's Creed Revelations is the "Apple of Eden #2"? I really enjoyed the video
That was never the case though. So when people say "I wish AC returns to the old days", the old days was first civ and animus stuff (im not saying you said that, but wishing something to go to something it never was is impossible)
The apple of Eden is made of silver? It doesn't look like it. The final boss fight in AC1 was the only part I really liked about the game. The rest of the game was a slog to play through. Altair did live for over 90 years. I wonder if the apple did that. 12:16 How did they find the apple? I don't think they had the Animus to tell them where it is.
Do you know how many people say that something similar to Apple actually exists in real life and is the reason for every War in history because they were fighting over it and that's why Ubisoft put it the games
Why is it certain people can weild the apple and others can't? Unless the apples aren't all created equal, Eivor (reincarnation of Odin) couldn't but Kassanda can...that part makes no sense
All th apples are equal, th thing is that a typical human in th 21st century possessed roughly 0.0002% to 0.0005% isu DNA in their genome, tho certain bloodlines more directly related to th original hybrids possessed significantly higher amounts. Even then, hwvr, these bloodlines paled in comparison to th sages, who typically possessed upwards of 5% to 6% isu DNA in their genome. Such abilities included increased strength n dexterity, an affinity in using n resisting th pieces of eden n other precursor relics n a natural, albeit limited, access to th isu's 6th sense: eagle vision. They have a percentage of isu DNA w/in them that ranges frm 0.0005% of a normal person to 5% of sages. Evidently, eivor must have enough isu DNA in her to be able to have all th abilities mentioned above n also act as an incarnation of odin, but not enough to be able to safely handle th apples of eden like altair, ezio n leonardo
Yes, adam n eve are traditionally considered history's 1st assassins, tho they lived n died long before th order was formally founded by bayek n his wife in egypt, in 47 BC. While their son cain is considered th 1st templar, w/ modern templars using his mark, th red cross, as their symbol
