- April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month. Today we are joined by Louis Eichel MD, Rochester Regional Health System, Department of Urology and David M. Germano. They walk us through the steps in diagnosing testicular cancer.
I’m 20 years old and found a lump on my testicle. Please God I hope this isn’t serious. Please keep me in your prayers guys 🙏

Just go to your Dr. and don’t try to get sympathy from something you don’t even know you have, and this is a message for anybody.
If anyone has symptoms don't leave it. Go to the doctors. If it's caught early enough chances are you won't need any chemo. If you don't catch it early the likelihood of needing treatment increases.
I went to nine doctors and all of them said there was nothing there. Eventually, I was sent for an ultra-sound scan which showed cancer, and also a cist. After an orchidectomy and chemo, there has been no problems.
My doctor also said nothing was wrong but I don’t trust him so going back again.

Well after I placed that comment a lil lump came on near the veins and then it went away but it still hurts sometimes but I was hit in the testicles alot so it might be tramua
Both you guys should get checked out at the docs. They do a really easy ultrasound that doesn't hurt, it just tickles a bit - but get it checked out as soon as possible.

H Tyreek go to the doctors mate. If you have any symptoms at all it's best to check. Have to checked yourself to see if you can feel anything? If not I would do that also.try not to panic. It's probably nothing but best getting the doctor to check you out

I’m 15, I found a lump a couple months ago. It feels a little squishy but a bit firm. When I catch it it makes my stomach feels weird and hurts to some extent. The testicle isn’t enlarged or shrunk, I have a lower back pain after sitting down for around an hour. Please help, I’m really scared and don’t know what it is

dylan rogers you have to get that checked ASAP. It's not necessarily cancer, it may also be some sort of infection or injury, but in any case, have it checked. The longer you wait, the greater the possibility that your testicle becomes damaged. I don't want to scare you, an I'mmnot from the medical field, but if it is a cancer, there is also the possibility of it spreading into other parts of your body. Tell your guardians and/or a school doctor/nurse or any other trustworthy adult and get help! It is better to have the symptoms checked and diagnosed than live in uncertainty and fear and possibly have the situation worsen. There's no need to be ashamed about your distress. Health-care professionals deal with that stuff on a regular basis and your guardians surely want to help you.

Actually cancer is still not very known to doctors and god forbids if this has happened to anyone then it will be the best option for now to remove it or its might get spread to other organs....though age doesn't matter for cancer

What he said is wrong having a undescended testicle is not main reason for testicle cancer 100 percent believe me. There a lot patients who had testicle cancer with 2 testicles so undescended testicle is not the only main issue here but if you have one just consult your doctor and check one year once to prevent any issue. If your above 20 you have to go and see your doctor and do a medical check up.
I just learned that, I have appointment with urologist next week , I guess o have to tell him, that my right testicle did not make it down until I was 6yr old. I have pain and very concerned 😟
@@miltonjasso5843 don't worry i had my laparoscopy operation last year to remove my undescended testicle which i had ever since i was a baby. luckily it was not cancerous now i'm checking with doctor every 1 year once to make sure that my testicle is good. Preferably you have to do ultrasound every one year once to make sure your other testicle is good.
I had surgery and said no to chemo. my surgeon treated me like shit and I regret having surgery. I've been using cannabis oil.and I've had no comebacks. June is my 12 month. cannabis cures cancer.
oTubby you regret having surgery? You have to have surgery if you have Testicular cancer. And I read somewhere that cannabis actually increases the risk of testicular cancer. Remember testicular cancer is a germ cell cancer and is not like most of the other cancers. Did your cancer spread?
