So i asked my friend, (were both in band) "What if a saxophone and a recorder had some hybrid???" (I didn't know this instrument was invented) My friend was like "idk" so a week later I just found this and I was like.. "Wow"
I bought one and became deeply disappointed. Bb, Ab and Eb are extremely difficult to play in tune, some major adjustments in the airflow are necessary. Which diminishes the possibilities of playing popular songs.

Back then, new instruments would be created by musical genius’s and would majorly impact the music of the time, but in the current day, people just develop stupid little trinkets like the one in the video that often/always never get used and die out in a few short years.

peopel usually don't like teh recorder because they have only ever hears 6 year olds play a soprano recorder badly. The recorder is a whole family of instruments and people often hear them in theactrical scores and don't even realize they're listening to a bass or tenor or sub bass recorder.

I love How there are thousands of really really amazing obscure traditional instruments that actually sound good(I have a dream that one day things like kora and cimbalom will be Well known), a whole bunch of recently invented ones that also do(harpejji, glissotar) but the one that gets the Spotlight is a basically useless plastic sax-recorder
Probably you could invest into some inexpensive clarinet with more fun. I've got clarinet for $75. It has more pleasant sound than what is shown in the video. And clarinet has real repertoire to play in at least two octaves range.
Alexander Belov A CLARINET for $70. No way. Is it an actual piece of garbage? I’ve never seen one as low as that unless given by a really good friend. My mouthpiece costs more than your entire clarinet.
