Hi @Tanmay Mehta Your link for Stabliser is redirecting to UPS only Can you please check that and also how much watt Stabliser to buy for 7.1 system having 7*100W Sonodyne speakers a pioneer avr and epson TW7100
Hi you need a servo stabilizer here. Add the power consumption of your avr sub etc and then buy servo stabilizer of 2 to 3 kva. Here 1 kva is equal to approximately 700 to 800 watts. Based on that you calculate. I too in samd boat
Thanks for this video. Will a Furman Power Conditioner be good for recording studio and will it eliminate noise issues ? There are monitors and guitar amplifiers in the studio and we’re looking for protection as well as a solution for noise issues. Thanks again.
I honestly believe that only power conditioner will not do your job! You will beed Active DC Blocking cable too. Coz the power conditioners will not reduce the hissing/humming sound. They will refuce the RFI and EMI. Also, if possible get a mains noise analyzer test done to detect the problem! And then go ahead with it.
So an online and sine wave ups both are same ? And even a sine wave ups will do ? Also if we use a stabilizer , do we still need to use surge protector??
Hi @tanmay I live in tier 3 city where there is problem of frequent power cuts So would like to know exactly which product to go for because my budget is 4-5K only and online UPS is costing 17-18K Can we use Stabliser for this problem and if yes then which one to go for approx 1500 W 7.1 system
Your link is redirecting to UPS only Can you please check that and also how much watt Stabliser to buy for 7.1 system Sonodyne speakers pioneer avr epson projector
I had bought pioneer vsx 531. It was connected to a stabilizer. Due to power fluctuation something went wrong with the AVR. Does UPS help in power fluctuation as well ?
How many kV online ups is required for an above average Home theatre with 7.1.2 configuration with 200 watts each speaker with just 10 minutes back ? Please help
So, if I want UPS but also conditioning how should I chain them? What is the right order? Example: Power Socket > Conditioner > UPS > AV Receiver -or- Power Socket > UPS > Conditioner > AV Receiver? Thanks.
@@TanmayMehtais this really a good idea? Many electrical engineers say it is a bad idea to connect a power conditioner before or after a UPS. The general recommendation seems to be just an UPS alone or just a power conditioner but not both inline?
Good Information before buying a Home Theatre
Glad it was helpful!
Thank You for this Video 🙏😎🏡
No problem 👍
Anyone can explain what is the difference between a conditioner and a stabilizer?

Is it fine if we have installed an online UPS for the entire home ?? Should I buy another online ups only for the home theatre ?? It’s about 5 kv ups
Then not required. Just ensure that your current UPS has voltage regulation!

Only if your UPS mentions voltage stabilizer or voltage regulation

Is it necessary to buy a Sine Wave UPS?
Yes. That keeps the signal clean
@@TanmayMehta That means a Sine Wave UPS alone can act as power conditioner as well?

I'm using an Online UPS from APC. The fan noise is irritating as it is always on.
What is the kV?
Check the specs for this model SRV2KL-IN
