I had a freak out because I realized that no one made tutorials on this specific build as it seems they changed the internals of the machine but I found specifically you as the only person with the same model. I will be adding an additional 1tb of storage in the extra slot and adding 16gb of ram for a total of 24. Thank you so much

Fantastic video. I have this model laptop and its a must to upgrade from single to dual channel memory, I went from the standed 8gb to 32gb (16gb each slot 4800mhz ddr5) and its a beast now. The improvment in all games is night and day seen as much as 60 fps gains in some games and no tearing or stuttering in newer games.
@@falleneyegames Sorry about your pc brother, on the upside the laptop is fantastic no issues at all since I have updated the ram. When I was running the 1 8gb stick I had 3 blue screens thats when I was playing world of warcraft, with 2 tabs open and discord, the other was having 5 tabs open 2 of which was youtube guides. Since upgrading I have been playing Baldur's gate 3, on ultra settings at a steady 120 fps. also have 10+ tabs open. I have to say do yourself a favour and get the ram and get the screwdriver set he has in the info. way worth the money make the laptop super easy to get into. I upgraded mine in 10 mins it was that fast to do mate. I would also buy an anti static wrist band if you cant ground yourself fully. I got the Crucial DDR5 32gb (2x16) kit. honestly mate you will see instant improvments, On WOW I got 40 more fps. on COD I got 52 more fps, Fallout was maxed at 120 fps never dropped. on Starfield on all high settings never dipped below 60 fps.
Has someone tried 5600mhz ram in their laptop???
@@pitma1734 the laptop can't take it mate. At worst won't work at all, at best will just run at 4800. Don't waste your money

@@gamerhemanth2369 sorry for late reply but i have the same model and i have had it for 3 months and its wonderful and there is alot of things i like about this laptop well like the conservation mode how it works is that it stop battery from ageing and if your late for somthing and need laptop to fast charge theres a mode called rapid charge it works really good but i dont reccommend keeping it on always and if your a more of a work guy but you work you might need to do few optmizations for the battery to last but from my point of view if your a student and on a budget buy it its really good and add more ram for better preformance
I just got this laptop, It came yesterday and I've got some RAM coming in a couple days, got the 3050Ti, I love this laptop already and it was playing well with just 8GB can't wait to see how it is when I add another 8GB.
My new ram came in today, i upgraded straight to 32 and it is so worth it

J'ai eu un problème lors du redémarrage du PC. Le clavier s'allume très brièvement et l'écran ne s'allume pas.
J'ai pu régler le problème en réinitialisant l'affichage en restant appuyé sur windows+maj+ctrl+B.

When installing the metal cover you have to be very careful. I powered my laptop down but when the cover slipped and touched the motherboard it sparked and smoked. On my motherboard there were components directly next to the ram slots. I was lucky and nothing broke, but be careful and maybe diconnect the battery.

Ayuda ! Tebgo este mismo modelo y agregue una memoria exactamente igual que la Samsung 8gb que trae la laptop , para asi teber un total de 16 ... Luego de instalarla como en el video , al encender la en el task manager me mostraba los 16gb ,ejecute lenovo vantage para una confirmación de hardware y luego de reiniciar el equipo ya no me reconoce nada en el segundo slot de memoria, y se que rs el slot ya que intercambie las memorias y ambas funcionan bien al colocarlas en el slot 1 , que puefo hacer ?? 😢

NEVER. Best way to go allways is two modules of DDR, so you take advantage of dual channel bandwith

If yes, 16x8 gb wont work correctly, only 8 x 8 , or like your pc will consume 16 gb in dual channel, other 8gb in single channel

@@ayushnimje1977 It's thermals are excellent much better than other gaming laptops. 45 degrees GPU at idle and around 70 under load. Display doesn't wobble too much, a little but not bad at all. I have the 3050Ti btw.
