Depends who u use. Formal companies have set rates. U receive a receipt. At least, that's how it used to be... Even if u wanted to go to Makkah from the airport.

Hi salam. In my experience they were not checking the bag sizes
They can be sticky about things. Depends on date n time n thus amount of people travelling. Best to make absolutely sure.

I will appreciate if you let me know whether its economical to travel by train from Jeddah airport to Madinah or hire a GMC ,we are four family members planning Umrah trip InshaaAllah next month
Taxis charge around 600 -800Sr
Train per person one way is approx 135 Sr.
I would recommend for 4 person getting taxi is better especially if you are having more luggage

If you have 24 hours between flights and you are aline, best and fastest way in train
@@withfawad yes I have Friday I have flight from Jedda to Doha 5 pm
Take care about extra time needed on a Friday. Check the timings of the train (they have changed) to see u can get to the airport 3 hours before flight time. And work out extra time from Haram to station as it will be after Jumuah when it is crazy busy!!.
