- @ 34 years old MJ displays the highest form of basketball skills you will ever see. Past his physical prime but at his peak in terms of basketball smarts this is the equilibrium between his athleticism and basketball skills personified.
His face up and turn around fade aways were just a thing of beauty, nothing does it better. His stroke was smooth and can stop and shoot in a dime (probably the quickest pull up from 1 to 2 dribbles) it was pure perfection.
His advance footwork was just amazing faster than any other players i've seen, he has high and low post game to boot, catch and shoot and he moves without a ball with a purpose no waste of energy.
with those air jordan playoffs on his feet... it's amazing to see the master at work.

The greatest Basketball Maestro at work! Damn, it's exciting to watch MJ scoring! Anyone in the NBA who's close to this level? None! Hope one day there will be another true Maestro, who's truly passionate about basketball and the game!
MJ fadeaway = most devastating manuever of all time
+ladistar its crazy how after his physical prime he became an even better player because of his post game and unstoppable fadeaway
jer bo
exactly
UNBELIEVABLE!!! He was just out there toying with the defenders. No one out there was even on his level.
How could anyone be compared to this perfection?
MJ looked better at what he did on court than anyone in the history of the game. When I watched during his first three peat I would say to myself. He looks like a pro playing with against/ with middle Schoolers. Lol
That's how much better he was than the rest.
You're actually right. He did.
The untrained eye will definitely fool you. Yes MJ can easily be debated as the best highlight pleasing to the eye player ever but that does not equate superior skill/greatness overall
Tim is one of the most boring players to watch ever to the untrained eye while Kyrie Irving and Derrick rose and Vince Carter are amongst the best ever to watch
However tim will forever be levels above those guys for all the more stuff he brought to the table or any given team with his body and abilities combined
The same holds true for wilt, bill, Kareem, elgin, and west over jordan (tho elgin was extremely flashy himself)
They also did it among far harder competition and rules and pace
I watched NBA from 89' season . Jordan was unique back then, but u put him in todays NBA,hes not,cos after him there was a waves of super Athletic, super skilled players. Before him? who? noone reallly, peaple are atract to stories, bullshits, myths ,its all part of cult, religion type of create a fundament for everything.lest just see how NBA sounds in 80's or 90's..commentators after even simple baskets create myth behind everything, create Gods, while from 2000s NBA u have commentators who are looking to downgrade certain stars, its huge effect on mind of observer. I watched every game of Jordan in 90's.He was amazing shooter with perfected 2,3 moves in well oiled machine of Phil Jackson ,Triangle system, who privilage to play in had Jordan and later Kobe, proved to be superior to other systems. We can easy predict that if Jordan would be picked for exaple to other organization and hes road would be different,he would be great but without 6 rings. Its a case of beeing in right moment at right time. Other thing is that we dislike someone cos of his political wievs,Lebron whiloe Jordan chose ideal aproach, never be involved, kudos. What competition Jordan played against? Oh i remember and i laugh on everyone who create myths. Bulls never faced amazing team in Finals.Lakers?Old trash.still on my vhs.Blazers? Tough team, great defenders but offense?trash.Drexler was not himself, team with just one star really, who was outplayed.Suns? team with one star,i remember how stupid basketball sometimes they played. after that u have Sonics, nice team but if Kemp is your first shooter,u have problem, its not team u fear of.Jazz?ok Jazz i like ,structure, two veterans, great players, but so unathletic, rely on Pick on roll all day. Where those teams are compare to Spurs,Warriors,Lakers from 2000-2020? I Shooters everywhere, its different basketball, how bulls could defend that?of ,my eye is well trained.
1. James
2.Jordan
Jordan's fadeaway is an example of perfection through hardwork and passion for the beauty of the game.
Four defenders in the paint...and he still scores!
He's The Greatest Of All Time!
every player in the league should be studying this master class, there is something for everyone.
The 1997 Bulls have one of the 3 hardest defensive roads to the title amongst championship teams. Only the
- 1997 Bulls
- 1999 Spurs
- 2004 Pistons
have won the championship while facing 2 sub-90 PPG defenses in the Playoffs.
All 3 teams that faced more than 2 sub-90 PPG defenses in the Playoffs
- 1998 Pacers (3)
- 1999 Knicks (3)
- 2004 Lakers (4)
failed to win the championship
The 1997 Bulls collective Playoff opponent win% was 0.686, the 2nd-highest of any Title team that played 4 rounds.
Among Title teams that played 4 rounds, only the 1995 Rockets had a harder Playoff strength of schedule with a 0.726 collective Playoff opponent win%.
Under these incredibly hard circumstances, Jordan at age 34 still put up 31-8-5 on 46% for the 1997 Playoffs and led the team in 5/5 categories for the last 3 rounds collectively.
The 1997 Bulls also have the 2nd-lowest Playoff and Finals scoring supporting cast (Team PPG - Leading Scorer PPG) among title teams, after the 1998 Bulls. Meaning the opposing teams could focus more exclusively on Jordan under these harder circumstances as well.
I only realise now, years later, how important Jordan's other hand was at pushing away the defender trying to hand check in - watch closely, he does it in most plays, it's a thing of beauty.
Easily the greatest player in the history of the sport, and I don't see that ever changing.
ANDY WHITBY
That oppisite hand was important and quick.
Chris Dodges it sure was, so subtle but effective
Showed my dad, who was a huge MJ fan, this video. Said Kobe has the exact same moves as Jordan, but is too aggressive. Couldn't agree more.
Your dad is 100% right. Even Phil Jackson said the same thing "MJ would let the game come to him more whereas Kobe would force the game if it wasn't going his way" both great players btw.
Mason Metcalf moves doesnt mean the same player.
Sergio Catalan I agree. Moves are only part of it. But I did mention aggression, a behavioral trait.. A player's attitude is also a part of it.
People always compare the finals, and rightfully so! But those Eastern Conference teams he had to face were insane
Man his moves are still on another level! Next best thing in 2019 , Kawhi Leonard!
I watch 2010 playoff performance of Kobe..kobe fans wrote hes is the goat the best... you understand clearly that Kobe took difficult shots and he destroyed the rhythm of his teammates... Michael was in the triangle offence..no spare movement he understood the game better...
The fadeaway of jordan is flawless
even at 34 he was spectacular. His shooting range was incomparable. He can get his shot from anywhere, anytime he wants. His footwork is a thing of beauty!
Who are they trying to compare to this guy again?
GOAT with no equal
The Greatest of all time and also my favorite basketball player ever. MJ!
Just unstopable , that fadeaway shots were perfects rarely missed
they were usually missed if you would watch full games of mj, but when he scored then it looked pefrect
Jordan. Every time i see him play in these clips, I'm amazed again!
This is one of the best videos of basketball ever!!
EPIC showtime from the best of all time in basketball. Jordan is the God of basketball. Then goes the super great Chamberlain and Kareem and then the rest of the super basketball players.
Thank god i've lived in the era of MJ to see him play.
THE ONE AND ONLY BABY! Michael Air Jordan The Greatest Man To Ever Play The Game!!!!!!!! Great Job! Takes me back to my childhood. MJ was always nice enough to let them think they had a chance lol
Totally agree, I prefer it when you can hear the game commentary in these highlights. Makes you feel more like you're watching it as it happened almost, in a weird way.
Cant take eyes off, had to watch entire thing. Excellent editing. You end up feeling like MJ was completely unguardable. I like how the beat is tasteful and adds to the presentation also.
I loved listening to Hubie call Jordan's games.
Same! My favorite.
unstoppable fade away jumpshot...
This is amazing.. He was beyond good. I think people forget how good he was. Kobe is not even close
Jordan can score wherever, whenever and however he wants.. truly unguardable..
Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Tim Duncan, Shaq, Reggie Miller and many more I can't think of ARE NO WHERE, NO HOW, NOT EVEN CLOSE to being BETTER THAN JORDAN.. Kobe may have a chance as being the closest but NEVER WILL BE BETTER. Jordan's moves so fluid and his fakes and turn around jumpers are UNSTOPPABLE, then everything else cannot be Matched!
LOOOL. Kobe is a joke. LeBron, Shaq and Duncan make him look like a scrub and are close to Jordan. I'm a HARDCORE BULLS FAN FROM THE 90'S. I can imagine you are a kid. Kobe is trash, how dare you say he is the closest, he is not a top 25 player of all time.
MJ shot 46% facing weak teams in this playoffs above, he's not perfect, and won easy championships, no team could have beat him, he had a great team, the best team. This isn't trashing MJ, because I wouldn't use championships for any player.
He's the GOAT, and 96-98 was the best time to watch basketball, even though MJ was worse, doing less and the league had a lot of expansion teams. But the atmosphere throughout America was something I can't explain.
***** Im not a kid and I'll tell you Kobe is close to Jordan...And a little insight before you bash and curse me for saying that (Michael said so himself)And every GM would tell you...Kobe would run circles in Jordan's era...Kobe would shoot 50% to if you play straight up defense!!!...We talking bout Kobe Bryant who thrives in one on one...Kobe would destroy those smaller guards...If the man can score 81 in today's game then no doubt Kobe would back then...If before you say it was "against the raptors"...Jordan never scored 81 vs the leagues laughing stock teams then...
Lmao what an idiot
Martel Ramdin I think offensive wise the person I think from your list that could be on jordans level is Kevin durant. he's the only other player on that list that could win a scoring title with a high fg%.
The guy could score in so many different ways. Look at all this different fadeaway shots he hits. He was truly the GOAT and the king of the fadeaway. He was Fast, athletic and strong but yet he beat you with the most basic fundamental techniques of the game. Foot work, head fakes, pump fakes, foot jab, drop step and more. Kevin Durant, you have years to go to threaten this man's status, Many have tried and failed miserably.
MJ is just like wine, gets better with time. Thee greatest
mj was just so quick and had impeccable foot work..beast!!!
Thanks for the video, that's just beautiful to see him playing.
the best fade away jumper! the greatest of ALL time!
he remains the best!!! it's incredible how he makes fade away shots!....so easy for him!!!
His footwork though! Fundamentals paid off!
he just dancing with the ball....what a beautiful player.....
His fade away's is on point.

This Jordan at 34 and he was still the best player in the league. Just the greatest

Cant get enough of this 3 Jordan videos showing all his FGs from those playoffs series. Have you tought about doing similar videos from other playoffs years from MJ?
Great job, thanks.
What scary about MJ is that he had different moves towards different teams.
just tell me who in today's basketball would be able to guard him??? dare give me one name!!!
Bruce Bowen lol
No one. Not even close.
Kawhi
Anonymous User hell no lol
Malefeet MALEFEET Mr NONE

there is nobody on this planet that can stop this guy , dont ever piss off MJ he will get better and better and he will embarrass you every time .
THE BEST FOR AGES !Basket could stop with his retirement, this guy made all what to have been done in the game , damn! AIR JORDAN !
Jordan's midrange game will never be matched
Look how cool jordan fadeaway jumper was!!!!!!! The Man was on C2i playing in these playoff games lol
MJ is GOAT because he is the most entertaining player to ever play
great quality!

jordan was so good in Chicago back in the 90's that I cnt remember a single Bears game!!!
Great !!!! Thx for the upload
I got dizzy watching him move in the post... Jordan is too much!!!
Amazing ! very Smart player and of curse very talented , The Best Ever !
Michael Jeffrey Jordan known as Michael Jordan is Greatest Player of all time. Famous all over the world as MJ, is the Legendary Player of Basketball. more of him at thesportsbiography.com/biography-michael-jeffrey-jordan
Sick video. Mookie Blalock is probably still icing his ankles from all those ankle-breaking cross-overs.
That mid-range game is nasty
Mr. Jordan burning everybody at will! total domination! kobe, lebron dwade not even close!
dam 96-97 & 97-98, Michael was truly a shooting assassin
He was perfection at his craft, no one will ever come close. Sorry Lebron
awesome upload!!
as we said in the 90's, MJ ina houuuuuse
damn, MJ's mental game was amazing
That Michael Jordan's Fury vid you made is absolutely EPIC. I would buy it for 25 usd just to have in my collection. You're talented dude.
This was Jordan at his best.
Great performance in playoffs...insane post move fade away is unstoppable moves...rarely see now..only kobe bryant use this moves so far
Jordan is the greatest!
Although Kobe's great, don't get me wrong. He definitely has MJ's playing style down better than anyone else, and he's one of the all-time greats. I'm a big Kobe fan so I just wanted to throw that in there so I don't sound like I'm just hating. Kobe's been on a tear the past few weeks too, playing out of his mind. Jordan's the GOAT though, clearly
Pure skills.
man he makes so many difficult shots people don't know how hard it really is
The Goat
the best all time...
legend
Dropping titles while wearing his own shoes :) love it!
WHo else had his face on "GODDAMN" mode throughout the whole video? What a fucking Beast man.
GOAT.
silence fills the room
Genialne !! świetne
i cant agree more my friend...after this video i realize that he was undisputed!!ha ha
hacia lo que queria cuando queria y con quien queria.. era dios
masterpeace-
Only reason is because I'm sick of you kids claiming that LeBrick can be better than MJ, and sick of all those NBA analysts claiming the same thing. LeBron is nowhere near the GOAT, and will never be.
There is no one in the league now that has that kind of drive to win..besides kobe and LeBron
8:40 That's a pretty sick step back.
Jordan was just baptizing those defenders, they never had a chance. Man I remember this year, the 97Bulls had some good games against the 97Knicks, there were supposed to play eachother in the ECF but Knicks played Miami in the semi's and the Heat cheated the Knicks by starting that brawl that year and getting the Knicks players suspended for those playoff games. That 97Knicks team vs the 97Bulls would have been a good matchup.
SIMPLE: UNSTOPPABLE......
I hear a lot of people say that he lost a little of his vertical! Its not that you lose vertical....its the weight you gain as you get older.....your body goes through weight changes. your weight at 18 is not the same at 34...the strength is there....just getting that xtra weight off the ground is tasking.
MJ at 34 was not as athletic as he was in the late 80s when he was still at his physical peak. His stamina was also not what it was.
No he lost a lot of his vertical but was still always one of the most athletic guys on the court in this time span. 99% of people jump higher at 18 than they 34 including Jordan
AMEN!
They were the 5th seed in 1995 playoffs behind the Hornets,Pacers,Knicks, and Magic
Epic !
He was in the Zone
CM SY KnB Zone?
Lebron has a long way to go to even be mentioned in the same sentence as MJ
If you look closely, this video also shows why Dennis Rodman was great. Look at every shot that Michael takes while Dennis is on the floor. Dennis ALWAYS had a better position to rebound than his defender. Commitment, will and great fundamentals are only a few qualities that these guys had and most of them are missing in todays players.
Godmode !
