And I don't even know how I came up with her. She just showed up once in a video and it stuck. All that aside, I really appreciate your kind words and the comment Michael, 🙏. Glad to have you here!
Sales was never personal development in disguise to me, I figured that out early on. But it's obvious that this guy is in the business of coaching. These are the same methods being used in solar sales. I'll believe it when I see it in action.
It is. Just know that if manage profits well from the busy periods and successful waves of door knocking..and you keep a good attitude and keep knocking..that large flow or referral calls and door knock call backs will happen again and again. Keep it up!!
My main thing is how to approach the conversation when you're in neighborhood not recently hit by hail etc? Just surveying and cold knocking, not getting up on the roof immediately after but just scheduling the appointment.
This is a great question. Most of the door knocking time is spend in this situation. I would recommend binge watching this playlist on "Ace Your Pitch at the Door" to learn a lot - include my SLAP Formula for pitching at the door: ua-cam.com/play/PLZ20p_mXvgkVzUfDKsMbq2SUNJQPK2Jp8.html
I'm having a weird two weeks back-to-back. Check this out. To begin with I prospected, knocked on doors and close my first three Deals. I'm thinking to myself oh my God LOL. This is going to be easy. Over the last two weeks I have knocked almost 300 doors and haven't gotten squat. It's back to the drawing board. I'm trying to figure out what I am doing now that is affecting my productivity and success. I was doing something right and now I'm not LOL. I'm back to working on pitches and doing some self-correction introspection.

Ok I own a contracting company & I can't keep canvassers to save my life. The fact is social media & doing shows is the way to go. Its not like it was 20 years ago. People don't trust people like they used to. The worlds changed unfortunately & not in a good way. I had a couple canvassers that were threatened by homeowners & dogs nearly attacked them. These companies that send out these uneducated kids to get the lowest sale commissions make me sick! Solicitation in many ordinances are against the law. These big wig companies promise these kids "golden opportunity" & market "make 5k a week no experience necessary". It's all a scam. Canvassing is being phased out & its probably for the best.
Canvassing is a no cost way for companies to advertise. Commonly they can get away with hiring them as 1099 contractors. This way they only get paid if they set appointments that close. It benefits those who are willing to learn and get better. That being said it absolutely is out of style and social conditioning has programmed homeowners to hate D2D. But on the flip side most people will click an ad without thinking. Social Media is the present and if you aren’t utilizing it then you are missing out on massive upside potential.

I'm so discouraged. This woman started screaming at me and running after me from the time she opened the door and it looked like she was about to hit me. I didn't know i had applied for a job where i was expected to take this kind of abuse
I got hunted by two guys in a neighbourhood I was knocking the other day. Had to hide behind a car as they walked past talking about what they were gonna do. Reset my mind after that and back knocking today 😂. It's hard work but that's why you get paid well for it. Oh and that was my third day knocking on my own without a trainer. Hopefully you get through it we've all had those kind of experiences.
I'm in training and the focus is on the homeowner being comfortable. Understood, a stranger at their door. However, as a female they are a stranger. You don't know who they are. Safety goes both ways. You can be assaulted or dragged into their home. So many scenarios. If I find that someone is intoxicated, mentally unstable ect..move on.
Hey Jeff, Great question. "Typical" is a hard question to answer. Why? Because it LARGELY depends on #1) If you are following a sales process #2) If your estimates are prepared in advance so you can 1-call close (and NOT have to come back for a second visit) and #3) How competitive your market is. On the low end I'd like to see 40% minimum. On the high end, 70% +. That being said, there are quite a few members inside the Pitch Pro Movement who are using my CARPARK Closing formula and sustaining 76%-86% close rates on retail (average) with weeks that have hit 100% (obviously not sustainable - but damn impressive).
@@TheRoofStrategist that is incredible! I am just starting out in the insurance side and was just curious. I have several questions on several videos. But literally, your videos are worth the world to me! I have learned so so much from both my boss, and yourself!!! Thank you thank you thank you!
I work for a place that makes you knock every door no matter how they look. What do you do for a house that looks like it's in great condition? I'm also pitching a free inspection. I'm going to try the SLAP method tomorrow but we're not selling on site, we set appointments for our sales guy/inspector to come out.
Hey buddy, great questions and thanks for the comment. 1) Offering a FREE Inspection is great, so long as you present the offer at the right time: ua-cam.com/video/5I6kYwLD29A/v-deo.html 2) We never know what a roof will look like until we are up there. Unless it was JUST replaced. But if you hear this objection, try this: ua-cam.com/video/7c3h9vG03Sk/v-deo.html 3) Setting appointments doesn't change much in the process. The only thing that changes is asking for the appointment instead of the inspection on the spot. This approach will work for setting appointments too: ua-cam.com/video/QbMzbFc2RDA/v-deo.html Hope this helps!
